The rooms were clean and good size, the bath room as well was clean and a good size with a nice shower, drying rack and hair dryer.
There is a good pub downstairs attached to the hotel that serves really tasty homemade German food (it was actually better than the restaurant we went to the day after). Beer is excellent, of course, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Peter, the owner, was a good laugh, spoke English well, and was happy to have a chat.
The pillow was a bit thin

5 minutes by car from the Swiss border, the beautiful town of Laufenburg and a great area for shopping. Big parking space available for free. Everything was very clean and the host was welcoming.

Planned a quiet, chilled evening with food and enjoying the sun in the beer garden, but unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed on Mondays meaning we had to find an alternative restaurant but owner did give us a free beer each
Room was clean, mesh on windows meant no bugs in the room
