Lovely one-bedroom apartment in the centre of Genoa old town, about 20 minutes walk from the two main railway stations, three minutes walk from the nearest underground station and very well placed for exploring the city. The host was very communicative and met us at the apartment to hand over the keys and explain where everything was. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for our three night stay. Nice comfortable bed and the kitchen, bathroom, living & dining areas were all ideal for what we needed.
The entrance to the building was rather spartan and some of the narrow streets in the area are a little dark and dirty, but we didn't feel unsafe at any point. There were only two of us staying, I think it would be a bit cramped for four or more.

Very central location in the historical centre. Close to good eateries, local artisan shops, quiet area. Had everything we needed and was clean and tidy.
No lift! We were on the second floor, luckily we travel light, so it wasn't too bad getting our cases up to the accommodation. No instructions to use washing machine! However we finally got it to work.

Clean,spacious, comfy bed,very convenient for central shopping and dining,just a 5 minute walk.Our host was fantastic,very informative and nothing was any trouble,always able to contact her
Quite dark as there was workmen outside so curtains were closed,quite noisy in the morning but this won’t carry on when work completed.Very shabby and dirty entrance but this doesn’t reflect once in the apartment.Our only problem was with the people in the next apartment being very noisy and the sound felt like they were actually in the same room but was only 1 night
