A cosy cottage in a great location! It was very clean and just as advertised we had no complaints about the interior of the cottage.
The Check out was very early. Every morning we were woken up by the Rooks on the roof at around 6am. The birds were incredibly loud through the ceiling and it meant we couldn’t go back to bed. Upon Checkout, we also had someone knocking on the door early in the morning waiting to check the meters which was a little inconvenient whilst we were trying to pack and check out.

Perfect size for a couple for a 4 night stay.
The cottage was cold, particularly upstairs.

The views were good, the residents were friendly and helpful.
It's a quaint cottage situated just outside of Tintagel.
Short walk down a lane into the village(no footpath)
Away from any hustle and bustle.
Ran out of hot water a few times. Seating isn't particularly comfortable ( for us)

Manda and her hubby were by far the best part of our Cornwall holiday. The cottage apart from the bathroom and kitchen was very dark. There was a smell from around the fireplace that I can only think came from many years before heating was installed. It was a petrol like smell. The t.v. wasn't the best and the sofa was a bit smelly. The kitchen was well equipped and the bottle of wine was a lovely thought. Overall I think I would have been better to have booked a more modern home that let's in more light.
We left a day early.
I have never done that before.
We found having no Internet was a real drawback. It would benefit from an electric shower being installed and a new shower panel as the seals were all rotten and water all over the floor was an issue afterwards. A bath mat would be good from a safety point of view- or tell guests there isn't one so they could bring their own.
