The location was excellent, right behind the High Street but still a very quiet location.
The house itself was lovely, with everything required for a comfortable and well equipped stay.
It was our second time of staying at this house.
The only slight niggle was we felt some of the liquid hand wash had been watered down? Either that, or a very cheap hand wash!
I do have an issue with being charged £100 for my two tiny dogs. It was explained that having dogs in the house meant more cleaning due to dog hair and other dog problems. My dogs are non-moulting Yorkshire Terriers, both tiny, both house trained and both happy to always lay on their own bedding and blankets (which were all washed just before we went to the house). We are extremely responsible dog owners and I am certain that no extra cleaning was needed after our stay.
Grouping all dogs together and charging the same for non-moulting, non-slobbery, non-digging, non-destructive tiny dogs as a long haired, large, moulting and/or soft mouthed and/or destructive breed is ridiculously unfair and seems to me to be just another way of charging extra money. Such a shame.
