We have stayed here a few times.
It is clean and the beds are pretty comfortable.
The price point is great and Willis street is very central to most things.
Parking is a bit tight, but that is the same with every wellington hotel and its only $25 which is cheaper than a lot of wellington hotels.
Lots of good cafes not far away.

it's in a good area close to shops etc , it's not a luxury hotel but my room was clean , a nice view, and the price was fair. It's basic but I would stay again as you can walk to most everywhere

The location of the Hotel is really great, super close to everything.
The bedding and towls really good quality and it is clear that the housekeeping team do a good job.
Unfortunetley, there is not much one can do for such an old building, I does need a lot of work, and it is not easy to spruce up something that basically needs rebuilding.
The biggest issue were the hideous, dirty blinds and sash windows (single glazed).
The windows need replacing, are rotten and structurally unsafe.
The blinds were installed by a person with no skills in doing so. They sit too far away from the window, so anyone can see in from the massive gap on the side of each blind. Noisy room, not enough privacy and ugly blinds.
A quick call to spotlight, they would install them for you too.
Quick tidy up of the window frames from Hire a Hubby and the place would have been perfect for my needs as a casual business traveller.
Staff are professional and great by the way !
