We loved this hotel. It’s a high rise from around 1995, but built in a much earlier style, with lovely wide staircases, traditional sculpture and plenty of comfortable public areas to sit and listen to the piano player at dinner time! The room was comfortable, traditionally furnished, with a nice wood floor and the bathroom had plenty of ‘marble’. Excellent service.

I was given a room where cannot be flushed. The lady hotel staff was rude. Luckily, the manager is good. He exchanged the room for me.

Very good location and staff. Facilities are also a plus such as pool and gym. The room I had needs some upgrades. Wooden floor hinging and noisy, old furniture and lack of a total blacked out shade were a downer for me. Bar food was a hit and a miss: decent steak tartar but the pizza was cold and hard. On their favor the beer was pretty cold and crispy.

Front desk staff wouldn’t let us check in until exactly 4 pm. The hotel needs a renovation. Very tired looking. This is not a five star experience . 4 star bus tour type hotel. Seedy neighborhood, but close to San Telmo attractions.

Impressive hotel in a quiet location. The room was large with very confortable beds. The breakfast was really good too. The pool area was quite small and the water was far too cold for anyone to use! The courtyard garden was interesting.

The property is fine but the staff still needs to show some respect to their costumers. Nestor, the front desk, did not address our concerns and sent our luggage 1 hour latter.

Everything was great until soldiers armed with machine guns ordered all Americans out of the country. But even then, the staff and management tried there best to make things less terrifying good us. But it was damn scary to have a machine gun pointed at hotel guests!

The property is old especially the room we stayed in. Have not been renewed for a while. We can hear our neighbors’s TV and showering. Breakfast is the worst I ever had in a 4/5 stars hotel. Difficult to get wait staffs attention to get coffee. Terrible service. Front desk and concierge services are both very mechanical. No smiles..... Do not recommend at all.

Terrible. We arrived late in the evening at 10pm, given a room where housekeeping was still tidying up. The other person (solo traveller) got a room with three beds in it. The next evening we came back late and found that the room was not cleaned, and towels were not replaced.
