Everything was absolutely wonderful so for the bed I think you're better to all the new beds putting a mattress topper on top of the bed did not fix the problem

Absolutely, let's revise that: I had an outstanding stay at the Kimberly Hotel. The hotel features traditional decor and is impeccably clean. The service was top-notch, making me feel like I was at a luxury hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The Kimberly is very spacious, convenient and comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. Multiple subway lines are an easy walk away. The bed is comfortable and the sitting room/ living area is a great addition. Our balcony looked down 50th. I think the room next door had a view of the Chrysler building. The rooftop bar/ dinning room is reasonably priced and sunny. The one hotel drawback is the serious need for an update. The furnishings look like your grandmother passed them down to the hotel. There is even a display case of Hummel figurines in the lobby. For the price we paid, we expected a bit more modern elegance.

Great location and staff but the penthouse was not great. The “free pastries” were always empty or nearly empty. The Coffee and hot water was also empty twice. The tables were all dirty and the staff never cleaned them the entire time we were there. Pictures included

Took an overnight trip with my daughter and granddaughters. Everyone that works there was so pleasant and friendly! They took the time to be very friendly to my granddaughters. Their level of service was superior. We chose the location because of its proximity to Grand Central Station. Would definitely stay there again. Our one bedroom suite was spacious, very roomy.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well thought out. The beds were very nice, no complaints on the bedding or pillows (which were plentiful) and we slept wonderfully. Everyone we encountered working at the hotel were helpful, hospitable, and polite. The location was really great too. My son and I stayed for 4 nights, and it was excellent.

There was no hot water for the first 24 hours of my stay. Despite repeated promised to update me, I never heard back from the front desk or the manager. Eventually the water issue was fixed and the shower was usable but no offer of any accommodation was ever received. The rooms are large, furnishing a bit tired.

The room has old world charm and is beautifully furnished, comfortable and clean. The fitness center has everything you need. The staff is exceptional and made my husband’s birthday special with a bottle of champagne and treats in the room. We couldn’t ask for more hospitality!

The Kimberly was great! Super convenient to all things on the East side. Our room was HUGE with more than everything we needed. A 1-BR suite with a kitchenette, it offered so much more space than a typical NYC hotel, for a lower price than most comparable hotels. The beds were so comfortable, and for NYC, the room was quiet. Although the decor is rather dated, it is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. Actually, I don't think I will stay anyplace else again.

I loved my recent stay at the Kimberly. The service was uniformly helpful and friendly. The rooftop restaurant was nice for breakfast and lovely for a cocktail. My room was very large and comfortable. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It was an excellent location for attending the opera but would be great for Broadway as well.
