We booked 2 rooms with partial ocean view and both were the worst rooms they have there. Balcony in one had a very high wall blocking any direct view. Second room was facing the roof and being on the same level as the roof that's all you can see. That should be disclosed before booking. Pillows were very tiny and very uncomfortable. Sheets also were made of very cheap quality. The rooms seemed to be clean. Hotel itself is ok but our rooms were very disappointing.

From "Tiffany" who handled my efficient and friendly check-in with grace and expertise, to the staff who Valet parked my car, to the wonderful and thoughtful Birthday Surprise-my stay could not have been better. In a world where the phrase "Customer Service" has become extinct, they uniquely have it nailed!

The staff was friendly & helpful. Beds could have been softer, but they were fine. We were initially placed in a king bed ocean view room but it didn’t have a balcony, so we asked to switch to another room for the second night and they accommodated us. Very helpful. It was a great stay.

it's a nice hotel with beautiful views. clean. friendly staff. just wish they would say the parking price in advance and had the option to park elsewhere if we choose to. the price was outragouse!

Beautiful property, terrible pillows, the AC/Hear vent is right above the bed and blows right on your face, terrible spot.

Beautiful place. A bit of a money trap with resort fees and mandatory valet parking at close to 50.00. You can park on the street but it’s limited time parking g. If there was a parking lot we could t find it.
Overall we really liked the resort. Great staff, incredible views.

Over priced. Pool was freezing cold. No self parking option unless you want to walk up a super steep incline to get to property. Usually not a huge deal to use vale, but at $46 per day even if you don’t get your car out. The door has visible gaps all around and you can hear everything going on all day and night. No fan in bathroom or closing, locking door. Nothing included at all, up charges for everything.

Wonderful property with excellent staff. Enjoyed a beautiful view from literally everywhere - room balcony, pool lounger, bar, and restaurant. My favorite spot is by far the comfy chairs around fireplaces in the restaurant. Quick walk down the hill to the Dana Point Harbor. Bathrobes that they provide are actually large enough to wrap around you and keep you cozy (most places only have ones meant for stick figures). We ended up extending our stay for another night because we were so relaxed. Worth *almost* every penny (except for the valet parking which is required and $46/day… woof). Luckily the overall experience outweighs that hefty price tag.

Lovely hotel, unfortunately I was only there for night so couldn’t take full advantage of all it has to offer but very clean comfortable room, great staff and walking distance to beach and harbor!

The rooms are modernized and nice. It sits on a high Bluff with great views all around. There’s lots of walking either down to Dana Point Harbor, or into the shopping part of Dana Point. The restaurant breakfast was very good. The health club is nice and large.

we were woken up at 5am by strikers outside with megaphones, horns, and chanting. we could not sleep. we were told we would get a return call from the hotel manager and never did receive one.

First they force you to valet for 50 bucks, then they don’t have disabled parking. Said it was for the baller owner when he comes into town, so I guess he just rolls up in 5 vans full of disabled people. Then don’t worry about setting an alarm because the people that work there will be protesting at 0600 with megaphones and drums complaining about something

One of the nicest hotels we've stayed at in SoCalifornia with amazing views and plenty of places so closeby to walk and enjoy the beauty. Staff was very kind from check-in to the restaurants.

Really nice hotel in an excellent location. We attended Ohana Fest and the hotel is just a few minute walk to the venue (Doheny state beach). The hotel is quiet. Good for families or couples looking for a relaxing time. Close to restaurants. In the summer you can jump on the Dana Point trolley for free and zip around the city and neighboring beach communities.

Hotel definitely needs updating. Biggest issue is that the size of the rooms are rather small. In addition there were protesters waking us up at 4am banging drums and other loud objects. Not fun. Hotel staff did a great job given circumstances they also couldn't control.
