This was the most unusual stay ever, the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing in every respect and deserve huge credit all round.
The hotel is currently hosting around 1,000 displaced survivors of the 7/10 Hamas attack on Israel and we were the only tourists staying at the hotel.
It was a visit I will never forget.

The staff was extremely welcoming. The room was beautiful with updated furnishings.

This hotel has the most romantic feel to it. Feels a little like old hollywood. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. Super clean and possibly the best breakfast buffet in the city.

An old gem that never fades. Stayed there MANY times. Cannot beat the setting, pool, views, incredible breakfast buffet,..,

The AC in my room didn’t work on arrival. The room was 30 degrees. It was fixed within a couple of hours.
Airport transfer that I pre-booked didn’t arrive so I had to take a regular taxi
However
I requested a king bed and they only offered me two single beds.
The gym is ruled by the PR’s who occupy every item of equipment. Leaving their towels and phones on various items and then treat you with disdain if you dare to move them to use the equipment.
Shampoo is scare. They give you one small tube per day. so if you use the gym and want two showers per day you have to steel items from the maids cart :)
Other than that it’s a nice hotel. Great pool area. Food is good. Location is nice

I would highly recommend this hotel we had a wonderful stay rooms are great - lovely friendly warm service…. Over the summer hard to find a good hotel as they are so full but they really made it work.. the grounds and beach are fabulous…

To start with the good things, the hotel sits on a beautiful property probably the best hotel beach in Tel Aviv and the central area. The pool crew is great. The food is great as well
cons- shower backlog . Can’t get even water . Either cold or hot in short cycles . Some very unpleasant front desk (not all of them ) . The card key never works . Very hard to almost impossible to get a parking spot even in their parking lot .

Always feel very welcome at the Dan Acadia.
The staff are very welcoming. The massages I and my spouse had at the spa were excellent.

The property is in a lovely location on the beach but firstly the steps to the beach were unsafe for some people. The service outside the bar was very slow. All amenities including spa and shop were closed the whole week but we were not advised when booking. Housekeeping was not good, refreshing the rooms does not mean replacing the sbower gel or face cloths or tea or even taking away dirty glasses. It was certainly not worth the cost and we will think twice about staying there next time.

They locked the door at night and not one by front for a while. Started working on the pool with heavy equipment at 7 30 am

Over all it was not too bad, the hotel is very old, carpets are stained all over the place.
need a major uplift.
breakfast over the weekend when the hotel is full feels like you in central station and not in a 5 star hotel.

Stay at Dan accadia was terrific! Staff was friendly and accommodating of my dietary constraints (vegan) although passover made things a little trickier. Kitchen chef (gavriel) made me a special vegan breakfast!
I will mention though, that booking through expedia does not include taxws. This came as a rather unpleasant surprise to us at check-in, so be advised...

We decided as a treat to spend one night at the Dan Accadia to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We asked for an early check in and a late check out.
To our delight not only did we get a 12 noon check in and an 8pm check out but our room was upgraded to a most beautiful suite.
The staff were a delight and very friendly.
The pool are and grounds were phenomenal.
We certainly plan to go back and we won't wait until we have another celebration.

The promised “free parking” was street parking, if you were lucky enough to find it. Hotel parking quite pricey.
Sea view room overlooked the swimming pool with the sea off to the right side. Beach was accessible from the hotel, but chairs cost 95nis each time you went out and returning to the hotel was much more complicated than finding your way out.
Our king bed was two twins under a king headboard. Great linens though.
The second night we were there, a large, LOUD outdoor wedding was catered By the hotel right outside our windows from 5-11:30Pm.
Health restrictions well adhered to by the staff, but no one asked for any level of guest compliance.
In general, a disappointing experience that could have been greatly improved if we’d known about parking, beach access and wedding intrusion beforehand!

The Dan Accadia is a very well run hotel. The receptionists are well trained and try to make you feel welcome from the outset.
The lobby bar could do with a less brusque manager who may benefit in some hospitality training. The rest of the lobby bar staff are friendly if not a little slow in offering service.
The breakfast staff are most helpful and try to keep the dining area clear of used plates, cups and the like, if sometimes a little too quickly!
The bedrooms are well kept by the chambermaid staff. They are clean and well furnished. There is a drinks area, including alcohol and tea, coffee and light snacks.
There was some difficulty in obtaining some firm pillows but in the end the manager was able to help.
I would certainly stay at The Dan Accadia again.
The pool area is just great. Pool bar and restaurants looked good even though I did not try them.
So, rooms at the right price are never easy to find.
HOTELS offered me the right room at the right price at the right time.
Well done Hotels.com

Great hotel on stunning beaches. Shame about the noisy neighbours one night. But they’re entitled to their fun.

We went away for a rest and that’s what we had , but am sure the whole area is much in season . Nice cafe around the hotel and a marina with shops and restaurants . Hotel and staff friendly and very accommodating .

Very low-grade experience in (almost) every way. Positives: the weather was good (October) and the hotel is on the beach for paddle-boarding etc. So the things that are not about the hotel!
The hotel itself is pretty much negative all the way. The breakfast food was appalling and the 'service', worse. You'd ask xx times for tea / coffee and waitors would walk off without a word and not return. The dirty plates left stacked on tables around you so there were no free tables. The rooms were left unclean after the cleaners. The lunch buffet-style cafe had a big range of inedible food you could help yourself to (at quite some cost) apart from the day BEFORE a storm when they didn't open even that. The outside beach restaurants were open for lunch as normal despite the upcoming storm late that night and was far better in every way. We had a return night flight and asked for a late check-out or courtesy room - just no. Not at a price. Just no. The hotel was so far from fully booked it would have been laughable if it wasn't so offensive to listen to their 'no' narrative. THen, cases taken from the room for 'storage' were left in the lobby for anyone to tamper with all afternoon. Just awful, awful, awful all the way. Try the Ritz-Carlton or Daniel if you need to be in Herzliya specifically. Same location benefits by the beach etc and they can't be as bad as this one. Really.

Hotel is attractive, well renovated. Does not qualify for the price asked. Rooms are spacious, bathroom floors where not cleaned for the duration of 4 nights stay, nor the coffee cups or tea cups replaced. Stuff is marginally pleasant. Had to drug my luggage up an down from the room on arrival and departure. No complimentary hotel transportation offered even for a fee.
Used to be a premier hotel with the super service prior to renovation.
