From the outside you wonder what you have booked. But our room was all remodeled, floor, ceiling, walls, shower and beds all looked new. Big room. They still have some work to do but it looks like they have done a lot. Breakfast was the basics.

I had all 3 of my kids which ages range from 1 to 5. I got a call the next morning after checking in late at night that it was several noise complaint. Granted one of my kids is austic the 5 year old and the 1 year old was being just that a 1 year old. I definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone who has any kids to stay here

The place is relatively clean, the bed are comfy, and rooms are decent. The people who run it however..... Not so friendly, it honestly felt like I was burdening the guy. The check in and check it times also kinda suck and they won't work with you at ALL about it. 3pm check in 10am check out no questions asked. The breakfast bar leaves a lot to be desired it's basically cereal and muffins. Might stay here in a pinch but will be looking at different places my next time in Chattanooga.

The location of the place is excellent as it is close to highways, though surprisingly quiet. It is also close to lots of restaurants. The surrounding feels a bit sketchy, but as long as you get in and out of your room quickly, I don't think there is too much to worry about. The room is surprisingly well equipped, and very clean. The worst part of my stay was the breakfast. There is no hot items available except the coffee and hot water. The cereal tasted like cardboard, you get some packaged muffins and donuts. The only healthy option is apple.

The breakfast is very bland. Only bare minimum.

Needed a last minute hotel for a family member that happened to be passing thru, and we were shocked by the value considering how nice the room was. Definitely leaps and bounds above other “leave the light on” locations that were similar in price. Recommend this place for a low price point and just basic accommodations needed.

Mattress box springs noisy having base guitar sounds. Updated bathroom with extremely nice shower. Limited breakfast.

Arrived at 430pm, waited in lobby rang bell but no service. After 10 minutes I called the hotel and the front desk guy answered from his bed room and was waking up from sleeping. The room was spacious and cleaned. The main shower knob was broken and would not turn on. On check out day the cleaning person didn’t knock, but rudely opened the my locked door as I had the chain latched they quickly shut the door at 9:15 am. Then again at 9:40 the cleaning lady tried to barge in the room without knocking with the chain still latched she stood there with the door opened, I was in my boxers on the bed and she just was complaining that check out is at 10. She wouldn’t shut the door and just kept glaring at me, I finally yelled at her to shut the door. I was out of the room by 10 am. There was no need for her or the other cleaners to invade my privacy during my stay. As I was leaving the property in my car the men and the lady opened my door to my room and as I was pulling away they all just glared at me as if I was a problem.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Super clean!! Nobody allowed to just hang out around the business that wasn't conducting business!

What a clean and convenient gem. This boutique hotel is roomy, friendly and conveniently located to airport and attractions. It boast a super affordable option with friendly staff and full breakfast in a clean and well decorated setting. Only drawback, extremely hard mattresses

The shower was great. Room was tidy. Google maps not great on getting us there. Drove to it in the night. It was hard to see.

Had amazing waterfall shower and room was nice and clean had new beds and plenty of room in room only thing they needed was a dresser to place your clothes on that was only thing I seen they needed to make it a 5 star on everything

I have stayed at this property twice and both times the staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and had everything; a fridge, microwave, hair dryer and an amazing shower!!!!

The upper blanket was with yellow stain spots

WE really enjoy staying at The Athena Inn . Lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds, fabulous showers with all the conveniences, fridge, iron, hair dryer, good television easy to operate.

I liked this hotel, been staying here since my move to Chattanooga. However my last couple of stays have been BAD, ants, roaches and bed bugs. The front desk clerk trys to say it's my dog food that is bringing the bugs, but dog food can NOT bring bed bugs, after my last stay my arm is filled with mosquito like bites, which my Dr advised were bed bug bites, they are extremely itchy. I called the hotel and tried to be nice and advise him of the situation, but he continued to blame my dog food, and then told me I was no longer welcome because I bring problems. DON'T WORRY I AM NOT COMING BACK AND YOU SHOULDN'T GO THERE EITHER.

The property on the outside doesn’t look too bad, but on the inside of the rooms and such…. Holy cow. There’s holes in the walls, dents and marks all over the inside and outside of the door (appeared someone kicked it in at some point). 1 of the 2 locks was busted, the sending chain lock that kinda worked was bent and coming off the door frame. The area around the property is insane. Lots of homeless people and drug activity all around the city. There was 3 homeless people camping out in front of the property and looking into all the cars parked outside

Best motel I ever stayed in. It has an amazing rain and side shower. The only thing that could be better is the pillows, they were very flat and uncomfortable
