Wonderful room overlooking the harbour
Staff were lovely
So enjoyed Tromsø I plan on visiting again in 6 months & using same room in hotel

Breakfast was great with good variety of quality food. Fantastic view of the harbour. Surprisingly quiet for its location and very little internal noise. Luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out and comfy seating in lobby to hang around.

We were very glad that we booked Home With Hotel. The setting was beautiful, right on the harbour and with view of the cathedral. Our bed was lovely and comfy and the room temperature was just right, not too hot or too cold. Bathroom was spacious and shower was good. There was a good variety at breakfast although staff were sometimes a little slow to replenish. We enjoyed the Fika in the afternoons ( free hot drink and cake). We only had the complimentary dinner once. Please beware the food is cleared away very quickly at end of service!! The bar is very small and not particularly inviting so we went out to neighbouring bars. One criticism would be, they only had breakfast tea available on one out of the five days so if you're a serious tea drinker TAKE TEA WITH YOU or purchase some from the local SPAR!

Very homey and friendly. Front desk staff went out of their way to help us with our stay and plan our outings. Convenience and savings of having two+ meals provided were well worth it, and food was quite good if not high gourmet. View of harbor and waterfront was attractive and constantly engaging. Other guests were polite and friendly, families with kids made it cozy. Would stay again and will look for sister hotels in other cities.
