Very clean and well kept, especially for an older Comfort Inn that hasn't had the renovations that many I know have gotten in the last 4 or 5 years. I think this one is older than that. But it is very well kept inside and out. It is a bit out of the way for Springfield, but was quite close to where I was going. I will likely stay there again.

We were expecting the pool to be operational and it was closed. Breakfast was at 7:00 and not at 6:00. We had to be on the road before 7:00.

Never stay here! Never use Expedia! You will find very unsafe conditions and horrible service from both companies. Ive been ripped off over $250 from Expedia!

The staff was friendly and it had a good breakfast. The hotel is a little older, but still was very clean. Walking distance to the outback restaurant, and IHOP. Was quiet, so was able to get a good nights rest the night that we stayed.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very quiet. The pool was closed for repairs, but that didn’t affect us. However, if you plan to use the pool, it might be best to call the hotel directly before booking to make sure it's open again. It was completely drained. The hotel had a decent breakfast, but it was the exact same this all 3 mornings. No variation. Coffee & water available in the lobby 24/7, plus in room coffee makers. Beds & pillows were comfy for me, but my boyfriend would have preferred a flatter pillow. The hotel is very close to lots of shopping & dining options. Situated just north of James River Freeway for convenient access.

I liked the property ok, the staff at the front desk however were offensive. When i commented on the pool being closed, which was disappointed as our family picked a place to stay that had an indoor pool the comments made by the clerks were defensive i was told that she told me this at check in (if she did i didnt hear her) and also the man said its on all the web sites (no it is, if it is listed on the website then it is hidden and should be listed under the pool section) they both had a negative attitude and treated me like it was somehow my fault. Rude. Also another lady doing houskeeping made comment about needing the elelavtor while i was already waiting there for it. The customer service as far as attitude and professionalism needs great improvement and no I do not plan to use the hotel again for that reason especially if our family is counting on a pool.

Receptionist who checked me in was super helpful with my requests. Room was specious and comfortable! I appreciated the quietness and felt safe during my stay. Additionally, the warm breakfast selections were plentiful. Much thanks to one of the breakfast hosts for her kindness and humor.

The whole reason we booked this motel was to enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub. Upon checking in, we were informed both were closed for the weekend. Aside from that the room was mediocre.

Pool and hot tub looked dirty. Also hot tub didn’t function properly. Door locks to the room was busted and held on with 1 screw. Closets door/mirror didn’t close and would cause issues when trying to open the door to leave the room or enter the room.

3 night stay. 1st room clogged toilet & sink. Staff came to room & handed us a plunger to unclog the toilet & said they had nothing to unclog the sink until the next day. We decided to change rooms. 2nd room ended up across from the elevator with guests/children coming/going thru the night. 3rd room toilet was very sluggish to the point of also being clogged. Otherwise staff was friendly.

The Comfort Inn was a great value for the price. The slightly aged building is well maintained and clean. The room had some wear and tear, but otherwise we slept comfortably and all the amenities were satisfactory. The breakfast bar had great selection. We did not visit the pool.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff until I was woken up at 3:30 a.m. and again at 4 a.m. and again at 4:30. Stepped into hallway to find night clerk laughing it up outside with a guest outside my door. Asked him if he was the one slamming doors and making a bunch of noise at 4 a.m. to which he replyed no. I asked him to keep the noise level down since i was trying to sleep and he started arguing with me that it was not him. I asked if he was going in and out of the door next to me and he replyed yes, he was preparing breakfast, to which i replyed and you keep allowing the door to slam shut and woke me and again he stated he did not so i stated you obviously did because you are the only one out here and I'm awake. Knock it off. I returned to my room and surprisingly the noise stopped. Unfortunately i was unable to return to sleep. Hence the low rating.
