Clean and updated room, nice bedding and towels, AC unit works great; just no coffee maker or hair dryer so if these are a must, bring your own. I stayed here to travel in between Hungry Mother and Mt Rogers areas, great hiking and mountain views. Saltwell and Skull Gap are nice overlook areas, also Virginia 16 for Back of the Dragon. Rogers is about 20 min away, as is Hungry Mother, Chilhowie is the perfect small town spot to stay in.
