The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with an amazing view. It was also very centrally located.

Location was good and walking distance to many places including Times Square and also subway. Except parking is a little pricey and inconvenient but this in NY, so you can’t expect cheaper rates.

Crazy experience. We had a reservation for three, we arrive late in the night, tired after a day of travelling, and we find only a double bed in the room. We call the Reception, and a concierge tells us there's a sofa in the room that we can convert into a bed - like, ourselves. I go down to talk to the receptionist in person while my husband and daughter wait in the room. The receptionist informs me that their policy is NOT to make sofa beds unless explicitly requested by guests. I reply that our reservation is for three people, we had just checked in and didn't know about this policy, and there's only one double bed in the room. The receptionist becomes defensive, even rude, he insists in their policy, repeats that I can fix the sofa bed myself if I want, and if not I'm welcome to wait until someone from the staff can come and help, but adds that they are busy and it will take a while. We manage to get the sofa bed done and go to sleep. In the morning upon checking out I tell the new receptionist about our experience, and he says that in fact a note had been written about us being very upset because there were only two bed spaces in the room. Well, yes, we were upset! Very upset indeed, but mostly because of the treatment we received! Horrible, really.

Great stay! The staff could not have been nicer! Easy check in and check out. Room size was fine for 4 people. Clean and quiet! Breakfast staff also super nice! Perfect location also to everything we planned on doing. We would stay here again

I’ve stayed here before and it was wonderful this time was just not the same. The hotel room was extremely noisy from the air duct in the room to the sounds of the street below and even the people in the room Next to me and below me. We had a corner room so a good view but the room was advertised as sound proofed and it simply was not I could hear doors closing outside the room and the whole conversation of the people next to me and their television meaning they could also probably hear me

Without my request I was put in a handicap room. I did not need on but appreciated the fact it was on an upper floor. The local weather was extremely cold, and though I had the heat in the room raised to 80 F, the temp in the room never rose above 68 F. Overall the stay was fine, I would recommend the property…though you probably can get better accommodations for the price in the area.

Location is great. Subway super close and also close walk to lots of attractions. A few negatives were- Bed was a bit firm and not super comfy. Also rooms were not souldproof and you can here neighbors pretty clearly. Especially their tv.

Overall it was a great experience. I had some issues with poor plumbing in the bathroom but in general, the rooms are spacious and clean, amenities are great, & the staff was super kind & helpful.

Front desk staff were welcoming & accommodating. The room (on 17th floor) was clean and had all basic needs. NYC is noisy all day & night, the road sounds were more than ambient noise, but there’s little the hotel could do about that. The bed was hard as a rock, which seems to be a trend at Courtyards of late. The options at breakfast were more than adequate and a decent price for NYC. Lots of public transportation available near the hotel, very walkable & safe area of the city with lots of restaurants and shopping options.

We checked in here for a night stay after just being married. My husband is a veteran and suffers from hearing loss. We had security bang on our door 3 times regarding the TV volume of “25”. It seems the neighbors were complaining when it was only 8pm. We asked the front desk kindly if we can be moved to a new room, his reply was “absolutely not” we then asked if we can leave and receive a refund and he also said “absolutely not”. We could not enjoy our honeymoon because of the interruptions and the fact that we had to turn the volume down all the way to “9” while watching a movie. We will not return or recommend.

This hotel is a high volume tourist hotel. There are lines a long waits for everything. 15 min queue for the elevator in the morning, 20 min queue for breakfast, 15-20 min queue to leave your luggage.... The room itself was fine. Basic and nothing special, but did the job. It's centrally located and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are just not enough of them to handle the volume of people staying at the hotel.

We chose to stay in 2 nights, and the location is defintely unbeatable! The check-in process was attentive yet quite slow, mainly due to the size of the lobby is so small and ony two staff were handling everything in such a busy season. The same thing happend when we checked out, after a good 10 mintues wait we chose to drag our luggage instead of storing them; The main room was clean and well-organized, we were really surprised about the small wash room and mini sink. The most unexpected factor was the AC, it was LOUD; in general, the value for the stay is great, yet comfort didn't meet our expectation, hope the hotel will make some improvement:)
