The location was great for me. Away from the downtown traffic cluster but convenient to get to.
I liked having the kitchenette but couldn't find any plates in the suite is my only complaint.

The hotel had my reservation but $0.00 credit from hotels.com. I reserved in mid-December of 2023. My trip was April 2024. Unsure which side was where the issue originated, but I waited 20-30 minutes for the front desk to figure out why payment wasn’t sent over. I gave them my confirmation number and they tried calling hotels.com only to be given another customer service number that didn’t work. In addition to this check-in fiasco, they gave me a parking paper for my rental and it said $5/day. On hotels.com it just says self-parking. They did waive this charge for the one night I stayed, but just be aware this is an additional cost…

Sonesta Austin-Texas I went for 4 days, was great, very clean, big and comfy rooms and customer service was excellent. is close to many entertainment places and night out. 5 starts from me.

- There was no soap in the bathroom (shower gel or for hand wash)

The best by far on this cross country road trip

Very friendly reception lady. Liked having our own kitchen for breakfast. Loved going to the food trucks with live music half a mile away.

Terrific front desk folks. Loved the room with kitchen. Bed and shower were good.
Wifi was ok but not perfect. Rooms are not made up during you stay, which was disappointing. Even every second day would have been fine.
They sell basic food items in the lobby, but there is nothing within walking distance.

The room I was in had water damage in the rest room. The floor tiles had gross drown water under them. Could not walk in the bathroom barefoot.

Staff was very friendly and room was very efficient and clean. Free access to laundry was a welcome addition.

Dirty dishes in dishwasher, coffee maker had someone else's coffee in it, sink was falling apart, no blow dryer and it smelled like mold in the bathroom.

We chose the hotel since it’s in close proximity of the things we were wanting to do during our stay. Pictures made it look like it had been recently updated. When we got to our room, the carpet was wet from being cleaned, but there was no mention of it upon check in. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, only shampoo, which we ended up using as soap to wash our hands. The ac only worked on the highest setting with the fan constantly going. Also no housekeeping service.

Our stay with Sonesta at the S. Austin location has been great! Megan checked us in with smiles, good advice for eats, shopping and traffic advice.
Sonesta gives Hampton Inn a good run for overall quality.

The place was clean and has everything you need. Convenient to get a Lyft into downtown if you’re planning to get a drink etc

We had a great stay at the Sonesta Simply Suites in Austin, Tx. It was a great central location to all of the places we went during our stay. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, however it was very hot during our stay. It appears the A/C unit was not working properly. There was no breakfast on property, however you have your own full kitchen. They charge a daily fee for parking, which was not communicated. Overall, it was a nice enough and safe place to stay.

Facility was a little out dated. Room was clean. My main issue was that the bathrub did not drain fast. I would run the water and within a min, the water would be up to my ankle. I also saw a roach while I was walking out to check out.

Everything was great, staff was great. Rooms could’ve been a lot cleaner, doesn’t seem like they vacuum the rooms often. We found some dead bugs under the chairs. The desk chair had dandruff and hair all over it. There was also a lingering smell everytime we returned to the room, we had to leave the window open at all times.

The staff here are so lovely! I stayed here for a 2-week work trip and everyone on the staff, especially the front desk folks and maintenance guy, were so very accommodating and kind, especially when I had a plumbing issue in my room. The facilities themselves are not glamorous but clean and with convenient amenities, which is a great value given the very reasonable price point.

Floors were not clean, WiFi wasn’t working,no soap in the bathroom and there was no tv remote control. Management did little to try to rectify these issues.

My stay was wonderful. The bed is so comfortable. The staff was beyond excellent very friendly and attentive to guest needs. The stay was quiet... I loved it.

Property is being updated. No elevator service and was on the 3rd floor.

The inside of the hotel was nice and clean and front desk staff helpful. However outside of the hotel gates, has a lot of litter. But down the road its nicer with good restuarants.

This place is a joke. The elevator was broken, and the front desk lady was nasty about it. She put me on the top floor, and directed me to stairs that were the opposite side of the hotel from my room. The room was HOT. There was clearly something wrong with the central air, and the widow unit in this one bedroom "suite" was insufficient to cool the bedroom.

For the price you pay, this place is great. Friendly staff, free laundry machines to use, basic gym, and clean rooms with a kitchen that includes utensils and extras. The only downside is their WiFi speed -- calling it slow is an understatement. Even while the hotel wasn't busy, the best I could get is 5mbs. That's barely enough to watch a YouTube video at decent quality. So if that's important to you, might want to look elsewhere. But for everything else? These guys do the basics perfectly 👍
