Rude staff at reception. Told they were overbooked and after we rejected to change hotel magically a room appeared. The room was tiny, impossible to move there. But the worst part was the noise. It was impossible to sleep there, it looked like the walls were made of paper. Terrible stay.

Had a lovely 4 night stay for hubby birthday, the place was nice clean and staff were also so nice. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided. Will be back definitely

I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast is excellent! Staff is super friendly and engaging. The hotel is located in the old city and is walking distance (3 min walk) from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Cisterna Basilica. There are plenty of restaurants and shops around. 10/10 recommend

The hotel was really clean. All the Staff were friendly, helpful.?Management was excellent in terms of easy checking in and out, transfer, etc. hotel rooms were amazingly unique and the terrace on level 5 have an amazing view and atmosphere.

Nice people and friendly. The service was excellent however many area need to be improved. For example the downstairs toilet must be kept always clean nice smelling with fragrance.

Very good service by the staff overall. Bathroom wasn’t the best. And breakfast wasn’t great but they had a different system due to COViD but overall I was happy. The friendly and helpful staff made it a good stay

I like that the property is steps away from all the museums. Unfortunately, my room did not have a view. The place is clean and although it is listed as a non smoking property, I did smell smoke a few times inside. Overall this property is very good and very close to attractions.

The hotel is well situated in the historical area of Istanbul. You're within a 5-10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque as well as the hop on hop off bus service that provides tours throughout the city. The staff at the Celal Sultan are very friendly and helpful, especially when it comes to organizing airport transfers or tours (which needs to be paid at the reception). There is a wide variety of food and drink choices at the breakfast buffet. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our only issue with the hotel is how thin the doors/walls/ceilings are. You can hear your neighbors talking from next door (or maybe upstairs) or noise from the corridor. However, there is not much that the hotel can do about this since this is a part of the hotel design. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its good location, friendly and professional staff, and breakfast buffet.

Great location hotel,can go to main sightseeing place by walk. I am highly reccommend this hotel. ロケーションがとても良かったです。空港からのバスターミナルはすぐ近く徒歩2-3分、ブルーソフィア、アヤソフィア、トプカプ宮殿、グランドバサールとすべて徒歩圏内です。ガラタ橋最寄り駅までトラムで3-4駅ですが、徒歩でのんびり散歩しながらもいけました。かなり充実して観光ができました。ホテル周辺も飲食店が多く、夜も明るくにぎやかで、安心でした。女性一人旅でしたが、とても快適でした。屋上からは、アヤソフィアが見れる特等席があります。ホテルスタッフもとても親切に対応していただきました。

ホテルで出会った全てのスタッフの方々がとても優しく、丁寧な接客でした^ - ^ 朝食は２回食べましたが、少しずつ変化のあるブッフェで、綺麗なレストランで美味しい朝ごはんを食べてその日1日が楽しくなりました♪ テラスからのアヤソフィアの眺めは邪魔するものがなくて綺麗ですし、駅や空港シャトルバスに観光地どこに行くにも便利な立地でしす！ They all really helped me and be kind to me!Good meal also service!Thank you very much!I will choose here if I have time to visit Istanbul!

As before, when I stayed here, it was lovely: had THE most beautiful room, great breakfast, wonderful service and, when I injured myself, was taken care of as if family! Shall for sure return on my next visit to Istanbul.

The Celal Sultan Hotel was 4 star maybe 40-50 years ago, today this hotel is at most 1 star! Location of the hotel is very good, and that is the only bright side. Rooms are extremely small and outdated. Included breakfast is mediocre at best. Staff is friendly, but that will not change your overall experience.
