This is an economical and comfortable option in the area. This is an older building that has been considerably upgraded. We were also upgraded to a suite, which was large and comfortable. There are individual units for heat/cooling rather than a central system with a thermostat. The bathrooms are on the smaller side. But the service was super friendly, everything was very clean, and they didn't skimp on providing little extras like toothbrushes. Breakfast was similar to that of a more expensive hotel with a waffle station and hot breakfast options along with cold ones. Overall, a very good experience.

Very clean. Only negatives, Person checking us in didn’t say anything , no salutation, no prompt. Just expected me to know what she wanted. And doors slamming at all hours.

I came here with a baby on my arms at 3am after a new year’s celebration , specifically to have a peacful night and not drive home at night. I reserved the room well in advance. I also checked in online couple of hours prior me coming in. They messed up and it turned out the gave my room to someone else. Someone literally came and sign a paper with my name on top of that paper. That means if that person ate something or got something from a hotel , it couldve ended up on my card. They did not ask their ID! And the front desk guy refused to wake them up saying it was a middle of the night. And we were standing with baby in the middle of the night. The guy could not give me another room for like 40 minutes. He gave me a different room but with one bed. And we needed two beds.
Needless to say we had sleepless night. I complained to a manager over the email. He never replied. They cared about customers who signed without ID under my name but they could care less about us with a baby. No words.

Well done renovation. However, like most renovations the focus was decor not fixing basic infrastructure deficiencies. A few $$ invested in new plumbing might address the poor water pressure in the bathroom sink…barely a trickle.

Completely satisfied with my stay at Best Western. In fact I am returning to the area next month and booked 2 rooms at this facility.

Stay was good, check in was quick and friendly, bed was comfy, and hallways were quiet. They respected the do not disturb sign on the door and check out was a breeze… only thing that was a little tricky was exiting the parking right onto the highway

Check in girl was awful and rude. Our room smelled like a septic tank. Thought the smell would go away but it did not.

In town to visit family. Arrived really early on a Red Eye at Newark airport. Got to the hotel around 8am. Way too early to check in. Asked if we could get in early if at all possible. Was told, "they would have a room by 1 for sure" We were then invited to have breakfast since we were there. An hour later, the young man at the front desk told me he had a room for me. WOW! What a treat and very welcome, because we were dead tired. FANTASTIC SERVICE! They saved our butts.Thank you ,thank you...

The outside of this hotel makes you question what the inside will look like, but I was pleasantly surprised as we walked in. It looked very well kept from the lobby to the dining area to the room we stayed in.
The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but not the worst. The breakfast options were very good for free breakfast (eggs - scrambled & boiled, oatmeal, waffles with kid friendly toppings, crispy bacon, cereal, juice, coffee & more).
There were a couple of reviews that spoke of how they didn't like how close this property is to the major highway. We've stayed in other hotels on NJ-17 whwre this property is located before & never had problems so we figured we would be fine; HOWEVER, we had no idea what these reviews were talking about until we actually experienced it. As you approach the entrance to the property you have to cross over a merging lane of cars entering NJ-17 from the NJ TPKE. The entrance is a short 200ft away from the exit. For this reason I will not stay again despite all of the positives.

Funky smell in room. I think it’s just the smell from the traffic on Route 17 and Garden State Parkway. Lots of cars, lots of car fumes. Parking lot smelled of pot and fish (Red Lobster is attached to hotel). Front check in attendant was very nice. It’s hard to pull onto the highway from the parking lot. Just step on it and pray.

I honestly loved the cleanliness of the hotel it was more than what I expected looks exactly like the pictures and the area is a plus I loved loved loved this hotel and my stay and I will definitely be coming again

Very friendly staff. Great customer service! They accommodated us the best they can and they went above and beyond. Room was clean and whatever we needed, they provided. My family and I really enjoyed staying here and will definitely visit again.

Hotel was well decorated and very clean, easy parking and Red Lobster next store. What I disliked was there was no type of view from the window. Next time I'll request a front room to get some type of view.
