Welcoming staff, big clean room. Good value for money - no breakfast. I am not from Leeds and travel there on business. The cab driver who drove me from the train station did not sound impressed when I told him I was staying at the High Bank Hotel. However, his tone and opinion improved when he dropped me off. He said he was very impressed at how well the property looked with its modern renovations and he noted that it was well lit. I told him I always stay here on business trips. Shops, restaurants, supermarkets and takeaway shops are 10 minutes walk down the hill. Bus stop outside the hotel. If walking, to reach the hotel entrance, you walk a short distance up a very steep incline. I have not seen any accessible adjustments in place and there are wide steps leading to the hotel entrance.

Nice budget hotel. The lady at reception was very friendly and I stayed before. The good thing is they show you to your room so you are not looking around.
Slept well and a nice warm shower. Bedroom is well kitted out with tv, kettle and teas, coffees etc.
My 3rd stay now over the years and I certainly consider it if I come back to Leeds in the future.
