Very clean hotel , staff was friendly, location was excellent close to almost everything, right across the street from Toyota Center

My friend and I stayed here to attend a concert at Toyota Center. The convenience of this location is unequivocally the best. I love the ease of parking in the Avenida South parking garage and going to the crosswalk on the 2nd floor to the hotel. And we literally walked out the door of Pappasitos which is located off of the lobby and walked across the street to the Toyota Center. Con.. not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom. There was a gap where you could see in. No exhaust fan either. But I would stay again for the convenience of the location. It’s right by George R Brown and Minute Maid Park. We had brunch at the Rustic which was also within walking distance, has great food and live music.

Had an excellent stay. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.

The size of the standard room is great. You don't feel cramped and it feels quite luxurious. The shower is one of the best of all the hotels I stay in. This is incredibly convenient if you are attending a conference at the George R. Brown convention center.

Loved the indoor pool. The rooms were quiet! All of the staff was amazing, especially Earnest!

The hotel was very nice, but it was quite expensive, especially after paying for parking as well.

The hotel features a stunning lobby, internal restaurant, and aesthetics, with direct access to Pappas Cantana restaurant from the hotel lobby.
This hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown. The the hotel offers friendly service and an overall excellent experience.
HOWEVER, our room fell Extremely short of our expectations. Despite paying extra for a city view, it did not justify the additional cost, and the room appeared somewhat outdated. The Only reason we would consider staying there agsin is due the locstion and the exceptional customer service!

Popped over for a quick girls’ weekend with my mom, cousin, and infant daughter. Every service from valet to bell service was great! Each person was friendly, efficient, and well informed about the hotel’s amenities. We will definitely return!

First off, we were unable to check in at 4. The front desk said they would text us when it was ready. We waited around and I finally asked after awhile, and they said oh yeah it's ready!
Our fridge made a high pitched whine, which was so bad we had to unplug it at night.
When I went to open the curtain on the balcony, the handle came off- it was not screwed on, just placed there.
The buttons on our remote control didn't work.
The body wash bottle in the shower was off the wall, still attached to its holder, but everything just placed in the shelf area.
Wires were visible in the lighted mirror.
The floor was so dirty we had to keep shoes or socks on, or the bottom of our feet would be black. That was really gross.
I called to the front desk and the guy was very argumentative.
To get to and from the pool, there is no direct route into the hotel. You have to walk through their restaurant or walk around the side of the building to the front door. Very awkward.
Food for breakfast was nothing special and super expensive (40 for toast, bagel, bacon, and coffee).
It was overall about experience that we will not be repeating. For the money, go somewhere else.

The hotel is in a great location with a ton of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff we encountered were super friendly and professional. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool on a cold night, one of the reasons I booked here. There were several cons about the room— one was our room was super hot and muggy during the night so I didn’t sleep well. I think the thermometer is controlled by the hotel because I had the temp set to 68 AC (not auto), and the heater was on. The walls are thin so there was a lot of noise from the hallway and outside. I didn’t feel like it was the cleanest room, my son found a froot loop on the floor and I found a long hair that didn’t belong to us in the shower.

Hilton hotel is very beautiful and nice. Room was clean and convenient. We had room with executive lounge that was very useful for us. We had snacks and all kind of water there and breakfast was provided on a top floor of hotel. We watched city from above. Bar is working at night too. Above all it’s very beautiful Christmas decorations there. Pool area is excellent. We had nice small vacation there. Thank you hotel

I did not like the fact that i stood in line to check in and staff gave priority to one of his friends, which just cut to the front of the line. I got a room next to elevators and heard noise of elevators going up and down all night. The bathub was peeling off, the sliding door to bathroom was awful idea (sliding door). Depending of purpose of visit location is okay (I went to go see Rockets). Better prices around same area and might get lucky and get free breakfast.

Bell man denied my request to borrow a cart for my luggage.. was checking out, came from 22nd floor thinking I could pick up a cart to load my luggage. Arrive at the front & ask for a cart; I was denied bc the “policy states I needed to leave an ID & sign it out”. I’m not renting a Ferrari, I just needed a cart. I forgot my ID in the room on the 22nd floor. It was very inconvenient. I refused to walk back to the room just for an ID. It was a waste of my time. Only solution for not going back and forth is to load everything by hand from the 22nd floor to the parking garage(which was a block away). 4/5 overall, good service but horrible policy just to borrow a cart.

The most horrible experience I have ever had at this hotel . It’s a shame because I have stayed there over 15 times . I was locked out of my room . The front desk couldn’t I
Understand that I had 2 separate reservations. Vallet refused to release my vehicle . It took me o er an hour to check in on Friday making me late and miss reservation I had . This stay sucked . The room was hot . I didn’t have any towels or hand soap

Didn’t appreciate the knocking on my room door at 9:00 pm to change the batteries in the door lock. I did not request a repair. No warning from front desk and no answer from front desk when I called to confirm whether repair was legitimate.

They did not listen to my message on the answering machine and basically cancelled my reservation. Quite awful experience
