The A/C is broken. When turned on, heat comes on full blast. I turned it on right before laying down with my child. We woke up to our room being over 90 degrees. Spent the entire night awake with my non verbal child in what felt like a sauna. Office personnel said they were aware of the issue but didn’t warn us about it beforehand or offer any accommodations. Terrible customer service.

The outer edges and the corners of the floor were filthy. I regret not taking photos. Someone above me kept pacing and going in and out of there room the entire night. Every hour, their door slammed twice in 5 minutes. I was also kept awake by someone’s dog the barked periodically during the night. In addition, there’s now, no leeway when it comes to checking in early or checking out late. Check-in is at 3pm and in the past, they would let you check in a little early if there was a room ready. Now, there’s a $40 charge for checking in even five minutes before 3:00! If you check out even a minute past 11:00 a.m., you are charged for an additional night! There’s no such thing as a “late” check-out unless you want to pay for an additional night. I’ve stayed at this hotel a handful of times and have had to put up with a few small issues but last night was a nightmare! I literally got no sleep. I requested the most quiet room they had but that didn’t seem to work out. Not sure if I’ll stay there again.

Definitely a dive motel. Lots of shady characters roaming the property at all hours of the night. Appeared to be a gunshot hole on the floor that also coincided to a hole in the ceiling. Cheap stay before a surgery.

The staff was nice and it’s an easy location to get to. The room was hard to heat at first and it smelled like cigarette smoke coming through the vent. The pillows just had one cover over it and the actual pillow didn’t look very clean. The pillows and the bathroom had a smell of overused disinfectant spray. The sink had a very slow drain (plug was broken). Hair left in the shower and sink. There was a hole in the wall with wires and some had plugs on them. No idea what was there. The vents were dirty. Dog poop left on the grass. My bed was lumpy. The curtain smelled like smoke. The bed by the door was cold because the air just came through the crack and probably the window. Overall I regretted staying here. You get what you pay for. Although I’ve been to updated Motel 6 before and had no major issues.

Registering was fantastic. I got my room. It was nice and warm when I got there. Front desk lady was absolutely lovely. Very polite. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. The bed was fine. The TV was fine. The bathroom was great. The problem I had was cockroaches. From teeny tiny to very large, and it was horrible, and I had a terrible sleep as matter fact I didn't sleep at all, and I wrapped my head band around my head to prevent the bugs from going in my ears. That's how many they were in my room not to mention they got in my food, as I turned my back to go get a drink of water, they started to scuttle, and they were in my Texas Toast and it was terrible. Anyway everything went into the garbage. There's nothing worse than to go into a room when you're exhausted and cold and you see all these bugs

It’s been a very long time since I’d stayed at a motel 6 and tbh I wasn’t sure what to expect but very pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very clean and way nicer than I expected though a tad small but enough room for what we needed. I will say there was something of a bad smell in the room when we first walked in but literally a couple sprays of cologne and I forgot all about that smell until writing this review right now. We had booked a single queen for NYE, honestly didn’t check in until between 1-2am, and by then there were no more single queen rooms available so she checked us in to a room with two doubles and didn’t charge us the extra rate and honestly that was our preference to begin with so we considered it a win. We were pretty much broke by the time we checked after spending all our money NYE and I admit I was a little worried about the $25 or $35 fee hotels.com says you’re gonna have to pay at check in cause we did not have that but there was no fee whatsoever and no security deposit (which tbh is why we picked motel 6 to begin with). The only thing that I would have changed about the room is the shower is really small and the shape of it makes it feel like an RV shower instead of a hotel shower and I feel like they could have done a slightly better job with those without increasing their budget or requiring a larger space, but the massive bench thing in the bathroom more than makes up for that.

The newly updated rooms definitely didn't feel like old motel 6 you think of when you hear the name but.. Be sure to check your rooms before hand.

Cockroaches in the bathroom. No Kleenex in the room.no luggage rack to hold suitcase. The people were fantastic. Smiling and friendly. IHOP right across the parking lot. The room was clean and had been recently redone.

I have stayed in many nice hotels and many cheap ones. This was one of the worst experiences of all. I love that they are dog friendly, but there was literally dog poop everywhere. I probably saw 40-50 piles on the grass strips between parking and the sidewalks, and even some on the sidewalks. The people who stay here are classless and apparently the establishment does nothing about it. More problematic, the room was nearly 80 'F with the heat off. I turned on the fan and the system was completely broken: a horrendous, thumping noise erupted and we just shut it off and tried to deal with it. And this was in our second room, as the first smelled so strongly of pot we couldn't stand to be there. I stayed here earlier in 2023 and it was no frills but ok. This experience was simply not ok. Will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Only problems were the AC and Shower. AC kept heating up, no way to turn it down, all you could do was turn it off. Shower was difficult to control. Very sensitive. Also the workers were smoking outside our room. That was pretty bad, but only happened once. Still it shouldnt be allowed.

Went to the bathroom on the second night and there were cockroaches crawling on the floor. Shower is claustrophobic and set up weird. People smoking marijuana in rooms but it’s supposed to be a smoke free facility.

My stay was good. There was a very little insect activity, not enough to freak me out. When I stayed there last the rooms had carpeting. Maybe I only noticed because of the tile floors. The floors are nice.

It took 3 tries of them given me a key and going to the room for me to get the room I booked. The room was ok, the bed was horrible. I got a lot of water on my bathroom floor so wiped it up with a towel, and the towel was DIRTY

Cockroaches. At first, we were pleasantly surprised by the updated room. Everything appeared clean. But after fifteen minutes in the room, we found a large cockroach crawling down the wall. We flushed it. Then, five minutes later, another one was crawling down my arm as I sat on the bed. We quickly got our things together so we could leave. While packing, we saw three more on the ceiling. We stopped by the office on the way out and told the gal why were leaving. She acted surprised. Surely, this was not new information, I’m sure. We stayed at another hotel for the night. Waiting on a refund. This is the first time I’ve ever found cockroaches in a hotel room. It was gross and I didn’t want to take any home with me.

Our room was infested with cockroaches. I requested our money back and the gentleman behind the counter said he wasnt able to, but then he was able to, printed me out a reciept and said it was refunded but the money hasnt returned to my bank account yet.

My room was not clean. Hair and food particles around the wall edges. There were several cockroaches in the bathroom. When I brought it to the front desks attention she just nodded and said yeah, I’ve heard that.

One of the best Motel 6 we have been to in awhile. No bugs, clean room and quite sleep. Loved the IHOP next door as well. Staff were amazing and welcoming. No issues

The help was good, the room was very clean. What I found that it was very cold, the last night I was there I asked for another blanket. The first 2 nights I was very, very cold, the floors were cold as well.

What didn't I like? I had critters visit me in the middle of the night (roaches). I asked for maintenance to repair or replace the hair dryer, but no one came. The smoke alarm went off because the hair dryer burnt out. The front desk personnel was friendly and courtious.

It was good enough for a weekend trip. You wont get spoiled here. But its a motel 6, not the Hilton so dont be rediculous with your expectations. It smelled musty, was pretty humid and the AC needs to be upgraded. Need to bring your own blankets if you want something thicker than a sheet. It was a decent experience and like i said, good enough for the weekend. But i wouldnt stay there for a week or more, i would want more amenities. Staff was friendly too. Be kind and you will receive kindness in return. Thats how it works folks. Lastly, it was very clean. Used a blacklight and found little to nothing. Good enough for me! AND NO COCKROACHES WERE SEEN! So that problems been fixed from the last reviewer. With all that said... Enjoy your stay!
