Booked a double bed room, non-smoking, w/fridge for 2 nights, upon check in we were told that the type of room we reserved couldn't be accommodated because someone else needed the room the following night. Which made absolutely no sense to us, what does it matter to us who needs this type of room the following night. We're here, today, and we need it for 2 nights and we have a reservation ourselves. Our reservation should trump theirs if we're here first... no? Either way, they said no. They canceled our reservation right there and then and rebooked us for the same room but just for one night. Again, made no sense to us. So we took our double bed, non-smoking, w/fridge room and immediately logged onto the site and re-reserved the identical type room for the following day. In the morning instead of checking out we went into the office and said "hello, we're here for our second reservation and btw we're already in a room so no need to move us." And that worked. What an inconvenient pointless situation. Also, all the pet areas completely covered in feces. We picked up our doggy's mess plus more to help leave a cleaner area for our dog to use again. Lastly, outdated accommodations, poor drip-like water pressure in the shower.

place sucked,,,, asked for shampoo.... "we are a motel ... not a hotel". was the response.... Downton Hotel is$70 and 0ffers everything...

Accommodating staff

First off, there is dog poop literally everywhere - in the parking lot, by the stairs, smeared across concrete, and nobody picks it up out of the grass so its all smushed in. It's absolutely disgusting. Secondly, the water line broke in only ONE of the three buildings and we have had no running water for over 24 hours. They won't move us to a different room or offer any sort of compensation. I literally can't flush the toilet or wash my hands. When I've asked about it being fixed as I planned to stay one more night, the lady at the front desk copped a giant attitude and told me "well you don't have to stay" when I said that charging me $90 for a hotel with no running water was ridiculous. I've stayed at multiple Motel 6 locations and this is the worst one I've ever been to. By far. And that bar is already pretty low. Also, when the water was running, the showers at this location are a joke! They are smaller than an RV shower and you whack your elbows repeatedly just trying to bathe, and I hope youre flexible enough to bring your feet up to your chest to clean, because you sure aren't able to bend over the shower is really that small. For reference, I'm 5'5 and petite build and it's tiny for me. Oh, and bring your own towels because they never have any! If I could give negative stars I would.

On three occasions the person at the desk gave our key to someone else someone who was not on the room and had no business being inside of our room

Worst motel 6 ever. Squeaky uneven uncomfortable bed. Tv didn’t work. Ice machine broken. Sketch looking people and needles and homeless litter all around the property.

I have stayed here twice now for just a night yo fly out of Portland. It is off the beaten path, but very clean and they enforce their rules for the property. Room was clean, pleasant staff, and quiet night’s sleep.

It was what you would expect of motel 6. Just a bed to sleep in. Found hair in the bed and hardwood floors were an interesting choice. Nothing fancy. Rooms definitely need updating. Staff was great, very friendly.

If you need a place to sleep sure this is okay. I wish they had at least a microwave. You can pay a little more for a better place.

I absolutely stay here again. Hands down very nice respectful staff that work here and would go the extra mile for anyone all electronics work and didnt need any assistance getting extra towels or changing reservations. Would stay here again or even longer. Thank you for all youd hospitality at motel central in Portland oregon The maintenence is very polite and helpful as well. Everything is walkable distance and very open big wife parking spots. Security atound property to and overall safe and quiet. Didnt have any issues accept couple people walking by being a little loud.

The staff was nice, the neighbor was loud that night. Thats the only thing. Free parking !

I was very, very happy with the staff! One of the most pleasant experiences I've had at a Motel 6. Brenda at the front desk was a star employee. We had a great experience...

The room was dirty. The bed had hair and dirt on and under the blanket. Bathroom shower had hair and looked really dirty. The night stand table was obviously not clean. It was sticky and had some type of residue.

I love that they allow pets. The room was dirty, towels had stains, broken ice machine, linens were old and worn.

Where to begin? Check in, the office didn't have us arriving on the correct day, in fact they had a real problem finding my reservation period. I was supposed to get a bottom floor room, but they didn't have any, so we ended up on the second floor, having to climb steps which hurt our knees and hips. Door lock cards had to be replaced not once, but twice, necessitating additional trips up and down the stairs. The TV didn't get all the stations. We almost ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the office to get another roll. The towels we horrible and had very poor absorbency. The toilet seat was loose. We had only 1 tiny bar of soap for both the sink and shower. There was no maid service for the entire 4 days we were there. I wouldn't go back to this place ever.

Non smoking room reeked of smoke. Moved to another room by the very nice lady at the desk. Linens visibly soiled. Crumbs visible when the top sheet was pulled down. Shower floor dirty. I was offered a 3rd room but declined. Non-refundable room but I left.

Clean room, clean bathroom, and no lingering smells. Yeah, it's a cheap motel and things aren't five star quality, but it a was a cheap, surprisly clean, and had a pleasant stay. I'll keep this place in mind for future trips.

Hella nasty, pool was gross, sheets and blankets stained and had burn holes, mattress stained on both sides, sketchy area with sketchy people.

The staff graciously moved us rooms after a plumbing issue in the first one. Then we slept great for 3 nights. The parking lot is extremely well lit (like a football stadium) which made me feel safe. Staff were awesome.

Wow - Motel 6. Didn't really look much like the TV commercial. The room stunk like cigarettes so bad it was almost unbearable. I don't want to know what made the floor so sticky. I've slept outside and been more comfortable. There was a crazy LOUD noise coming from the plumbing in the middle of the night. I don't know what the source of the sound was, maybe a pump? The shower stall was shaking like crazy, brown water was coming out of the faucet. It was nuts but luckily lasted only 10 minutes or so. On the bright side, the woman at the front desk was great and very helpful. I appreciate her kindness. The TV worked and the door locked--maybe I'm being too picky for 70 bucks?

Our room smelt like cigarette smoke. The blanket on the bed had burn holes from what looked like cigarettes. The bed was lopsided so one side was very uncomfortable. We needed toilet paper in the middle of the night and we had to go outside in the rain to go get it from the front desk since housekeeping wasnt working at that time. Overall, I would never stay here again.

Didn't like the fact that someone kept hitting the button to make sure their car was locked all morning long and someone's dog was barking all morning, and it was super noisy all night we hardly slept. However, we did like the price and location wasn't too far from where the concert was being held.

I would rate it higher but there is construction right nextdoor
