We love Jayakarta, staff are fantastic, located is amazing. We love the atmosphere and the pools in Jayakarta and always felt say with security at the front and back of resort. We definitely will be back for our 6th time. Cannot wait!

We had a Great stay we had a Deluxe Room which was close to the pool room very comfortable and clean, Hotel is very close to the beach, The staff where lovely. The location was very good to some good restaurant, great price compared to hotels nearby,

Overall jayakarta is great however some of the snack foods are very poor and unsure the quality of their cocktails have genuine spirits in them. Buffet breakfast is great.

Nice Pool-Landscape, good position directly on the Beach, closed to the City. Rooms funiture old, bathroom needs a renovation.

Really disappointed, stayed here a few times before. But now the resort is run down in all aspects unfortunately. Can’t even get the basics like towels, soap etc. A shame really.

The hotel staff were great… the management not so much.. they were horrible. I paid for my father in law to stay over two weeks. I gave the hotel my CC, my phone number and my email. I pre paid the entire stay. I arranged for him to be able to sign at the restaurant and bar. The last day he was there was New Year’s Eve, at triple the price, he ordered a margarita, while he was relaxing with his drink, hotel manager came up to him and told him that he needed to finish his drink and leave because he had no money. He spent the rest of New Year’s eve in his room without food or drink. Imagine refusing to give a 84 year old man who uses a walker to get around the hotel, any food or drink for the entire day. Especially having per paid his room for the entire stay. I checked him out the next day.

If you are on a budget and don’t spend a lot of time at the hotel then it’s great. The rooms are very run down and really need some upgrades. There is no shade around the pool area during the heat of the day and the tiling around the wet areas makes for an accident waiting to happen. We had multiple near misses.

Staff were kind and responsive. Location to shops / bars good. Check-in easy. Grounds well maintained. Room was a long way from the pool area but bed comfy. Despite being a little outdated it was generally good value for money. Breakfast was good.

Have previously stayed here. Love the location, it’s a bit tired, pool tiles are very slippery. Would definitely stay again, I just love the location and the gardens surrounding.

The apartments need a renovation. The shower had no pressure at all. Under the beds had never been vacuumed. The railings were very rusted and unsafe.

Needs better cleaning and maintenance within the rooms and around the pool areas. Arrived only to find our booked 'interconnecting' rooms were not available and we were sent off to 2 individual rooms (kids too young to be separated) with no apology or warning. The right room combo was only found after we demanded free accomm for the first night. TV and internet access was very sporadic with whole days with no access to either TV or internet, which, when they are paid for and relied on for work and family entertainment, is very frustrating to not have access to, with no apology or explanation to any guests.

Staying at the Jayakarta was awesome. The staff, incl Mr Swaztika, Mr Good, Ana all remembered our names and greeted us by name every day when they saw us. We will certainly come back to the Jayakarta next time in Bali. Only comment is they need more path mats around the pool in the walkway area as the tiles a super slippery when wet.

This is really close to a number of shopping options as well as the beach. Many options for dinner. There is both Balinese and western options if you like. Highly recommend staying here. Will certainly be back!!!

The 1 bedroom apartment we upgraded to had virtually no natural light and in the bedroom there were workmen outside so we had to keep the blinds closed most of the time, very disappointed in the overall quality of the room, tv reception ceased regularly, staff were lovely

Have stayed at Sejuk suites a few times now and would definitely return. Location and cleanliness of room can’t complain. Wayan really looks after her guests. Can’t wait to go back!

It seems when you book & pay for a room at the Jayakarta they don't actually allocate one to you! We arrived & were told our room had been given away so they put us in the apartment block which was the dirtiest room we've ever stayed in. The next morning before breakfast we spoke to reception about moving to the room we'd paid for. Finally after breakfast we were shown the room. The bathroom was flooded & a man was coming in with a plunger to "fix" it so back to reception we go. We had to line up as there were other guests complaining that they were promised the correct room also on their day 2 & were now on day 3 of their holiday. We finally were given a decent room on the afternoon of day 2 after a lot of persistence. Every day as we walked through reception (we were there for 10 days) it was the same fight from guests not happy about being placed in rooms they had not paid for. I'm unsure how this property is allowed to take your booking & money & continue to wreck your first few days unnecessarily.

Stayed here before we booked a deluxe room on checkin they told us we booked a standard but I checked it was deluxe now realise they are selling standard as a deluxe. Building is old breakfast was lovely lots to choose from location is great rooms are very noisy won't come again

Haven’t been back here since 1999. And neither has maintenance or upkeep. The room was drab, and smelt musty. The door lock was hard even for the bellhop. No room safe and safety deposit box was only large enough for small wallet and passport not in a case. While we appreciate the size of the resort, and the gardens are beautiful, we cut short our week stay after first night. There were parties and yelling going on till after 4am. Then housekeeping wanted to clean the room at 8am. Staff seemed disinterested in anything until we asked to check out. Then, after reminding us there was no refund, asked if another room might help, but the damage was done. Unfortunately this resort seems to have problems from the top down. Breakfast was good.

It is dated BUT well worth staying there, we will definitely be ataying here again. The breakfast is great with a great choice and real bacon!
