A Taste of Paradise: my eview of the Outrigger Beach Resort in Mauritius
From the moment you arrive your eyes are drawn to the breathtaking turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean where the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort wraps you in pure bliss. The resort sits along one of the island’s most serene stretches of coastline, where the sound of the waves becomes the soundtrack to your stay and every sunrise feels like it was painted just for you. With its lush tropical gardens, wide-open views of the lagoon, and architecture that blends seamlessly with the natural beauty around it, the Outrigger creates an atmosphere that is both luxurious and deeply calming.
I can only praise the warm, friendly service and the delicious variety of dining options, from fresh seafood by the beach to beautifully prepared Mauritian dishes that showcase the island’s rich culinary heritage. The resort offers a wide range of activities to suit every mood, from peaceful mornings at the spa to afternoons filled with snorkeling or paddleboarding, and evenings spent enjoying live music under the stars.
I stayed as a solo traveller but families also love the vibrant kids’ club, couples adore the romantic beachfront setting, it really is a perfect place to unwind and relax.
