First the staff are excellent, every single person that works at the Hyatt is friendly, helpful, just amazing all around. The food is the best though, in all the restaurant on property. Their food is fresh, delicious, they use local produce to make the meals. I travelled extensively and The Hyatt Dar Es Salaam was one of the best places i have stayed because the people made the experience AMAZING.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Especially the reception staff. I have to mention the two staff by their names Rehema and Shaban at the reception desk they were amazing, welcoming and very friendly. I had an amazing experience at the Hyatt. I will definitely come back.

They forgot to charge us for a few food items, and proceeded to call/email/text us about the $35 charge about 8 times in the timespan of an hour. Ridiculous. Our room was also dirty and damaged.

The service was excellent as always - balancing stylishly between professional and personal for frequent guests. The room decor is showing some wear and tear. Housekeeping and cleanliness 10/10.

After a few small issues lat time this visit was faultless. The staff were excellent. Vasilliki on reception, Leah in housekeeping and Whitney on the breakfast egg station excelled. The quality of the food was superb and they has a lovely roof bar overlooking the harbour. It is my hotel of choice in Tanzania

The hotel change me extra $2 on top of what I payed through Expedia. This was wrong and i wont go back or advice any good friend to go back. I paid everything and if there was another cost I should have been told when I go there.

Checking in was a breeze, the lady at the counter was very friendly. The room, modern n clean but unfortunately toiletries were missing and the was totally no toilet paper in the whole bathroom , like none at all even a semi-used one in the toilet paper holder was missing. Had to dial in-room dining multiple times to get a line through. An order of tea, soft drinks &fruits took more than 30mins to be delivered. Breakfast was flat n boring, Cornflakes were some cheap off- Brand make and there weren't even eating bowls for cereal Time & Age has befallen this once great hotel, there is a new 5 ⭐ Hotel just down the same road , maybe the plan here is to get us all headed there instead.

I loved my stay at the Hyatt, the staff were fabulous and so helpful. I left my laptop in the coffee shop and the security staff found it and kept it for me. Wonderful. The pool is spectacular and the venue amazing. Unfortunately, the Hyatt doesn't follow best practice with regards to the environment and changed the towels and bedding. Even though I hung up my towel, the cleaning staff put a new one. And changed my bed every other day. More training and communication needed.

good, central location. Great views of the harbor. They need to clean their windows. Restaurants have terrible food except breakfast was decent. Better plan on eating dinners elsewhere and not in hotel.

A very nice business hotell. Fresh & nice in a city that dosent have many options at this standard. In comparison Serena Hotel with its 5 stars has a nice garden & surroundings but it is outworn. Hyatt was a fresh breath and has a nice location with a nice roof top and good restaurant.

This hotel is little bit dated but still probaly best in Dar. Service at restaurant is excellent and the meals are one of the best that we have ever experienced. The chef even approached my dietary requirements althought he has not been informed in advance and prepared for us amazing meals within our dietary allowances.

Very nice hotel. Lots of dignitaries stay at this hotel also. Just one issue. The bottom sheets on my bed were not clean. Not sure why they were not removed. Top sheets appeared to be clean though. I hope this was an isolated issue. This was brought to the attention of management so I'm sure the problem has been fixed by now.
