The room was run down and dirty. For the amount of money charged this room / hotel it should have been at least above average overall. I like Holiday Inn Express so there are no surprises. This was an unpleasant stay in Salisbury, MD.

I had a very negative experience the day I checked out with the hotel front desk attendant and when I asked her name she told me her name was front desk. I made a complaint with her manager so I will see how that goes.

This is a great hotel. I would definitely return. The housekeeping staff could do a better job. They didn't make the bed. They literally just pulled back the cover. Others it was great

This location definitely met our needs for the two nights we were in the area. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I wish I had been informed of the $100 fee that was tacked onto my bill at the beginning so I didn't have to question it. It was for incidentals, and has been credited, but I think guests should be advised at checkin. Would stay here again.

When we checked in they placed us in a room that was not cleaned well. It smelled terribly like body odor. There was crap all over the carpet. Smears all over the mirrors from an animal or child. The treadmill in the workout area is broke. The outdoor card reader to get in side doors is broke. The main areas look like the floors haven't been mopped in over a month. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in especially for the total price of around 250 for the night!

The property was clean and the staff was good. Our fire alarm started chirping at 3 AM though. I called the front desk and someone came up and changed the battery quickly. The breakfast area was nice and clean. The food was adequate. This was not an inexpensive place to stay but it served its purpose for us. One night stay.

Desk clerk was great. Room was mostly clean and well stocked. Hand soaf was empty in sink - so we had to use body wash from shower to wash hands.. trash had not been emptied in living area... rest of room was clean - think housekeeping was just distracted?? Breakfast was better than most, and beds wete very comfortable!

The shower was dirty. Same with the toilet wasn't very clean. The toilet also wouldn't flush unless I lift the toilet lid and actual push the button inside the toilet.

I booked this hotel since mybson had a baseball tournament near by. This place is completely overpriced!!!! The room was decent, and the breakfast was good. However, it could have been cleaner IMO. I found hair by the bed and in the bathroom. The showeres need to be updated. The size pf rhe room was great

Location and staff great here. The owner needs to support staff by making necessary repairs where needed. The toilet paper holder was hanging from the wall, tv remote was missing its backing, the refrigerator had not been defrosted in ages, broken lamp shades and shower needed a thorough cleaning around doors. A shame when staff was great, breakfast service and variety well done. These little things can be done to make a stay perfect.

This property was renovated a few years ago, but looks like management didn’t care about keeping the property looking neat and clean. The lobby floor had papers scattered about. The elevator floor was dirty too. However, our room was clean and well maintained.

Stay at this hotel last summer and it was great. This year was totally different, first room was not cleaned properly. Night stand was full of chicken crumbs and gease stains, bathroom shower and toilet had hair everywhere. I complained and was giving another room, well the second was no better. The amount i paid for the weekend i was not expecting to see someone else's hair in the shower and on the toilet. Poor house keeping and management need to inspect rooms after house keeping.

I didn't like that while being checked in the person took 2 phone calls when another representative was next to her with no one checking in or out. The call was for directions. Other than that lengthy conversation she was having while checking me in it was okay.

I like staff commitment servicing their guests, exceptional. The gym could use a universal weight set. The threadmill is bottoming out under load and sanitary towels are needed to wipe down equipment after use.

As soon as we check in the manager was rude and refused to charge my room she was screaming at me across the lobby, worse experience. poor management and lack of customer service - I would not recommend this hotel.

Holiday Inn Express Delmar MD was right on our route, easy on/off. This location was very convenient, safe and attractive. We were welcomed by James at the check-in desk who knew us right away after telling him our name. He was friendly, warm, very helpful and kind. James shared tips for kcal restaurants and couldn’t have been nicer. I am happy to say our room was very clean, VERY comfortable bed and pillows. We’re looking forward to a relaxing free breakfast tomorrow morning.

Check in was a horror. Front desk agent was kicked back in a deep sleep. We had to get very loud to wake him up. It took about 15 minutes to get our room key, after explaining to him we had a reservation. And that I was not the person on the paperwork that was handed to me. Later on after returning from dinner that same person was totally knocked out again behind the desk. DRUGS???

The hotel and room were very nice. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was ok. Very convenient to Salisbury University. Only about 15 min down the road. Will stay here again.
