The facility is beautiful--just as close to the water as you see in the photos with beach access steps from the bar. The bar and restaurant are excellent and the perfect place to take in the West Coast sunset. Staff is friendly and accommodating as long as you wear your plastic wrist bracelet 24/7. And for a change in menu, highly recommend Gastropark@115 just a short walk across the street. Thoughtful amenities like a water bottle refill station and chairs outside your room to take in the ocean views add to the experience. Overall a restful, picturesque vacation spot.

Best hotel ever. It sits right on the beach and the beach is amazing and uper clean beach. Awesome swimming pool with restaurant and bar right next to the swimming pool and opened till late. Awesome view and the room was big and spacious. We will definately be staying here again. I highly recommend it.

Loved our stay at Villa Cofresi! Enjoyed hearing the waves crashing at night and having the restaurant and bar right downstairs for our convenience. The food and service was fantastic and we had several meals overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were second to none! We will be back for sure!

The dining was slow paced which is what I expected. The food was great except for the dry Mofongo, make sure it comes with a sauce. Everything else was great. The rooms were nice and big, watch out for the step to and from the bathroom. Very safe and Nice, great views of the ocean

My go to place each time I visit Rincón. On this particular stay we were disappointed to learn that complimentary continental breakfast is no longer available. A trip down the road to Ricomini’s Bakery is a delicious substitute!

so wonderful to have all the amenities right there if wanted. Food, beach, sundries. Would be nice to have a warning if room is right by restaurant/bar however as it does get noisy.

Great ocean views. Great bar/restaurant however the very, very loud music you could hear from the room until 10-10:30 ea night. Friendly staff. Good drinks and food. The Pirate Special (coconut cocktail made right in the coconut) is a must try.

Had a king suite w/balcony & ocean view. Really nice. Restaurant had tasty food with a pool/bar menu that had a good variety of choices. Must have the coconut drink. Staff very friendly.

This is a non-chain (ie. Marriott Hilton, etc) owned/operated property (I say this to set expectations for those that will immediately try to compare it and establish a baseline). First and foremost, you can’t beat the sunset views from their open air bar, which is adjacent to their open air dining area. Access to beach is excellent. The drinks and prices at the bar were incredibly reasonable, especially for a hotel on the beach. Check in was easy. Told by lady at counter we had been upgraded to an ocean front/view room…(which was excellent). Room was away from the bar and the only thing we heard at night was the ocean. Parking was secure with a security guard in front of entrance this no concern of leaving some of the beach gear in the car. Walking distance to downtown Rincon. Overall excellent stay. Would recommend to pay a little more and get ocean front view. Only complaint is reservation portal. Not the most user friendly site this used third party to secure reservation. Will return to area and stay at same property for sure.

We had such an amazing time at this hotel! We have stayed here multiple times and always come back because of the amazing staff and spectacular views of the ocean. The restaurant/bar is so fun and the mahi mahi pinchos were sooo good. We cannot wait to return on our next trip to Puerto Rico!

This hotel looks right over the ocean. Beautiful view! The room was clean. It has basic amenities you need. But if you want a quiet peaceful hotel experience book the deluxe rooms and check that it is away from the pool and bar. This wasn’t clear to me when I booked and so I was in one of many rooms right over the open air bar where people also do karaoke. Luckily I was on the third floor so not right in the thick of the party but it is still very noisy and like having a room over a nightclub. The bar closes around 11 pm (but also depends on when the guests are done partying the staff told me) and so it’s not all hours — but it’s a lot if you expected a peaceful relaxing quiet vacation hotel on the water. The hotel should make this very clear in their descriptions of the rooms. The staff was excellent. My only other issue is that I have never slept on such scratchy sheets! I don’t need Egyptian cotton highest thread count bedding but the fitted sheet was old and pilling and rough and very uncomfortable.

The restaurant at the hotel had a good menu with plenty of choices. Hotel was ready to do whatever you wanted. If your room is directly next to bar and restaurant you will hear the music which stopped about 10pm on weekends. Bed was a pillow top and slept well. You will hear the waves as the hotel is next to the water. There was a water fountain to fill your bottle with filtered water. Had the nachos with chicken and skirt steak it was great a little spicy and enough for 2 people. Great parking. Rooms are big. Rooms have 3 chairs table desk and get as cold as you want. Our rooms had a dehumidifier which kept things very dry. It took a few minutes for the hot water to reach the shower but not a problem once it was there. The staff keeps everything nice. May plan a family vacation here because it's very nice.

The hotel itself is fine. There are some uneven, DIY aspects -- definitely not up to par with brand name international hotels. But the staff was mostly nice and the rooms are very clean in spacious. Main plus: you are RIGHT on the water, with beautiful views and can hop out for a swim ANYTIME. Main minuses: noise, SOOO noisy. They play latin pop music in the bar from 8am to 10pm at a very high decible and it is inescapable for most rooms. We negotiated being on the 3rd floor, which made it more bearable, but might not stay again because of noise. The pool is also very small and mostly for kids. The restaurant food is not great and the drinks are over priced, but that is somewhat predictable. Luckily there is great food nearby in town. Not quite worth what they are charging, but still possible to have a good stay.

Really nice place to stay. Secure on site parking with attendants. Restaurant has great food. Staff all speak English really well. As do most everyone in the area. Close to downtown and several other good places to eat. It is directly on the beach. Can hear the waves from the patio bar. Depending on the time of day, high tide is not good for swimming. They will post signs. There are rocks all along the surf line of the beach. Most are flat and smooth enough to stand on, just be cautious. There is a beach park about half mile north with better swimming conditions. It is a short walk or they have free parking there. The hotel has a lot of events/party reservations in the evenings that can be a little loud, but they always end early. Even with a large event going on the bar and restaurant staff are always available.

We were very excited when we booked this property. We also had a great room on the 3rd floor. However, the room was not as clean as I hoped. The location of this hotel is top, with beautiful views and sunsets. I wish there would have been some chairs on the beach. It felt like the hotel just wanted you to stay at the pool, bar, or restaurant. The staff is very unfriendly. We wanted the menu card and had to stay there a while until finally, the server asked. The younger staff at the front desk were nice, the older even didn't look up when you walked by, so they did not say hello. Overall arrogant staff. Too bad for the location of the hotel. We love Rincon and will return but to another Hotel.

After many failed attempts to stay here because it always seems to be sold out when I want to visit, I finally got my opportunity to stay at Villa Cofresi and boy was I more than pleased. The staff was great, the bar area was so much fun with a fun bar crew, a jukebox, and the views at night and during the day. The hotel has a lot of great amenities and the food served at the lobby bar was excellent. The area was great, the rooms were clean. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I hope the next time I am in Rincon, I can have the opportunity to stay there again. I loved it!!!

Our stay was on Thanksgiving weekend. Excellent hotel with extremely clean & comfortable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the reception staff, they even gave us complimentary goodies for the Birthday girl. The food was exceptional. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality and service.

You will experience the most beautiful sunset. My one complaint is the size of drinks x price, this is a minor comment really. Overall, I recommend the hotel, we had a fabulous holiday.
