A wonderful property rich in Indian heritage. Beautiful furniture, paintings and decoration. Lovely, helpful people. Delicious food. And all at a great price. We have now stayed at the Umaid Mahal on two occasions and will be sure to do so again.

The staff were really friendly. Food at the roof top restaurant was very good. Room clean and spacious. Breakfast good choice.

Umaid Mahal is a stunning heritage-style hotel with truly beautiful décor. Every corner feels elegant and thoughtfully designed, making it a really special place to stay. The architecture and interiors give you a real sense of Rajasthan’s royal charm while still being comfortable and modern.
The rooms are spacious and well-kept, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and luxurious. It’s the kind of place that makes your stay in Jaipur feel even more memorable. Highly recommend if you want a hotel with character, beauty, and a true palace-like vibe.

We ended up having to change rooms as did our friends. Initially our friends changed due to a funny smell in their bathroom. Our room was beautiful and clean but after returning from dinner it smelled terribly of smoke. The staff were very courteous and kind and quickly moved us to another room. We’re not sure if cigarette smoke from outside somehow drifted into the room. The next room was nice but faced the street where stray dogs barked all night and the mattress on the bed was worn and sunk in the middle. We didn’t sleep a wink the first night. The 2nd night the dogs were quieter which helped.
