I stayed 8 nights in here. Location of this hotel is excellent. It's in the busy street of Hongdae so you always have a lot of things to do. It's so close to Hongik University exit 9 which can reach easily to go to Incheon airport. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. The receptionist who check me in is very nice. He allowed me to check in 2 hrs early. The only thing that need to improve is the room temperature. It is sometimes too hot and I can't turn it off. The heater they put on too hot. But I found that most hotel in Korea they put on the heater too hot.😀 Other than that everything else is great. I'll stayed here again if I come to Korea.

Pros: -Location is easily accessible via the train station -Near to Lotte Dept store Cons: -Touristy area therefore everything is much more expensive -Hotel staff was not friendly -the other room was provided with the necessities such as a toothbrush etc. I requested for toothbrush and the staff said they do not provide but my other room has one. -The bedsheet was stained and carpet was super dirty and the room was dusty -The room light was so dim that makes me feel like a haunted room We arrived at the hotel so late almost 11.30 pm so it does not make sense that they do not have enough time to make up the room for the next guest. 4-star grading was too high perhaps a 3-star makes sense.

The ibis Ambassador hotel in Seoul was a pleasant stay. The views of the city were nice and the location was extremely nice. Since it was in the middle of the city, it was easy to walk to nearby things to see, do, and eat! Price was a bit high, but it was enjoyable nonetheless!

Cons: First: I thought there will be red ibis pillow in the room but there’s not. Second: No amenities in the room Third: Room is not clean properly, when we enter we can see tissues on the floor Fourth: The air conditioner is not working, even though is winter, but is so hot in the room despite having window open because is centralised aircon and we cannot adjust anything! Pros: First: Location is perfect Second: There is actually a hot bath! Is not exactly a cheap hotel. I have stayed at the hotel beside it last time at cheaper price and way better. If I have to recommend I would not recommend ibis unless you’re on bag pack trip or budget trip. If you’re here to relax and enjoy yourself, please book the hotel next to ibis, everything is so much better.

We had a wonderful experience staying at IBIS. Visiting Seoul for the first time. Location was great!! - train station, underground shopping, night market were within a walkable distance. I will definitely stay here again.

This was our first visit to Seoul for my husband and I, our overall impression was a great experience. The location of this hotel was very convenient with bus lines directly at the hotel door and taxis within minutes away. Our reservation included daily breakfast service which we extremely appreciated since most eateries do not open til 10am-11am. Breakfast was perfect as it met our needs which included essentials such as rice, eggs, sausage, hamburger patty and also sides as toast, cereal, yogurt, vegetable dishes including kimchi. The room size was enough for the both of us not feeling cramped however bedding was a bit too firm for our backs, would recommend hotel consider pillow tops for the bedding. As for the staff, a few spoke English and were always pleasant and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again at our next visit. Thank you ibis Ambassador staff for making our vacation a memorable one!

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The facilities are very average. The gym is quite terrible. No water is available in the gym. Toiletries missing. Safe missing. Poor value in my opinion.

Comfortable Hotel. Good spot for markets, shopping and eating. Close to bus and train stops. Close to Seoul Tower. Bit difficult to find as tucked away off main Street. Enjoyed our stay.

Hotel is dead central anf very easy to get to and navigate from. It is also a stop on the airport bus route which is really convenient. Room was clean and functional. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and spoke perfect English.

Hotel is located in meyongdong shopping area, excellent location. Airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Room size is reasonable, but toilet is a bit small. Wifi is stable. Breakfast buffet is good enough. Highly recommended!

This is my second time staying in this hotel. Love the spacious and clean room. Transport to and from hotel is convenient as well as to other parts of Seoul. Myeongdong shopping and street food is just next to the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel around 10am. We asked for early check-in since we had red eyes flight but the answered was NO. I mentioned that I am an ACCOR member and she still said no. So, we went to lunch and walked around for a bit. We came back to hotel around 1:45pm and asked if any room are available for us and she still said NO and her reason was rooms are not available until 2pm. Seriously? You don’t have any room cleaned 15 mins before check-in time? This sounds unbelievable Then, after couple mins of conversation she gave us rooms right before 2pm. Everything else at this hotel was good, clean, good location, etc but front desk staff should be more polite, more helpful and more friendly!! Couple days later, we walked passed the bar area and there was a sign for welcome drink which we never received.
