The staff was always cordial and helpful-WHEN I SPOKE TO THEM. At a Hilton, I'm used to front desk staff greeting me and, indeed, I was greeted when I first entered. However, we were there for three nights, and I was only spoken to when I said hello first. Despite not dealing with another guest(s) in-person, no one at the front desk looked up at all, until I spoke first. It was a little weird, really. One day, the clerk was on her cell phone and just didn't bother!
I was also surprised that there were no mugs or glasses for coffee, just paper cups...and only Coffee Mate (no half-and-half). Is this a western thing? We live in Virginia.
The two patios (one on either side of the front entrance) could use some attention. One had only the sparsest furniture, really unappealing.
