Right from the start there were problems. The AC in the room was not working and the controls were broken. Whilst I use my mobile for calls the in-room did not work and despite someone coming to fix it they just left the job half-done. The room carpet was stained and old. Every corner expecially in the bathroom had ingrained dirt. I did not request a smoking room but it was the only one they had. I was staying for an extended trip (15 nights). The property overall needs an update. The shower head was broken and sprayed water all over again I complained but it was not fixed.

Booked a room with a city view... the view was of the roof and a slice of the city. Bedroom was clean and spacious however the 'sofa' was badly stained. The bathroom was old and tired. Good hot water pressure thought.
Housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and efficient
Meals were excellent. ALL restaurant staff iexcellent.
Unfortunately the spa & hair salon were only open to men which was a major disappointment. Women have not been considered in this area which is a missed opportunity! Instead women have a 'gym' (hardly) on the first floor, with just a few treadmills, a couple of yoga mats and random weights. In addition the provision of just 1 toilet and handwashing facilities means having to queue. Given that there are many women staying at the hotel surely better facilities for women should be provided!

Basic hotel, very small window in room. Breakfast was okay… Unfortunately, they had an emergency announcement that went of all three days of our stay, saying we need to vacate the building, and once was at 1:00am. Another night a staff member knocked on our door at 2:00am, mistakenly thinking we called for towels. Tough to sleep in that environment!!

Very bad experience
Arrived at 7:30 pm and my room wasn’t ready
The room was in a very bad condition, room door was open and can’t close smoothly, TV unit was broken, iron was broken and leaking water, bathroom wasn’t in good condition!

Good stay at this hotel during my first visit to Riyadh. Saleem was very helpful with the luggage and explaining the facilities of the hotel. Impressed with all the staffs service including the checking in staff. Good wifi service and walkable distance to local shops
Recommend this hotel for the stay.
Could have more restuarant choices. Slight negative is the food choice at the hotel restuarant. Buffet only so slightly on the pricey side.

Generally all good. My initial room was allocated over a very noisey part of the hotel. Some motor or generally need make for a peaceful first night.

The stay was excellent. Staff were very friendly and professional, who always went out of their way to help. Breakfast buffet was a great experience. The facilities were all well maintained and visually appealing. My only suggestion is to enhance room soundproofing where even normal talk is clearly heard.

Barely maintained in an acceptable condition. Really old and some parts (gym, pool, sauna...etc) are like been abandoned and neglected.
Well , you get what you pay for . For a budget conscious individuals this is a bargain. For comfort and luxury folks, this is not the place!
Definitely the hotel need refurbishing (carpets/sofas ...etc.)

I was not allowed to stay in this property, as my "pre-paid and confirmed" booking was over-booked in the hotel property on arrival. I was then told that there was a problem, and that I was being moved to a 'sister hotel' called the MENA Hotel, which was dirty, substandard and very poor in every respect. I booked one thing, and was then delivered another -- bait and switch in its clearest form. Not a pleasant experience at all, but I was on a tight schedule, was pre-occupied with important business and not interested in dealing with the last minute hassle to change hotels at my expense.

overall was nice, but we had an issue with the pillow, the soft one was hard!!
we order the continental breakfast to room, usually it comes with cheese and fresh fruit!! nothing.

AC does not work properly.I asked couple of times to fix it but problem was permanent. It is very had to live with bad AC in hot weather.
