Worst hotel ever. Problems with room and the management refused to do anything until we called corporate over and over. Then we tried to extend and he refused to allow more days saying we were the issue when he was. Very discriminating manager. Do not recommend or expect horrible service!

Posting this to save future stayers. The bed is like a pull out bed off the wall. Dirty. Toilets way too low, just had knees done and could barely get up, I’ve never had a toilet so low to the ground. Bug shells on the ground, no pressure when water turned on then continued with a loud noise coming out of the wall. Overall a really bad experience, had to checkout and get a new hotel the very next morning. Wouldn’t recommend.

The interior of the hotel was clean and no bad smells. The furnishings were cheap but comfortable.
The exterior was disgusting . There was trash and broken glass everywhere. I stayed here because it was dog friendly but had to go offsite to walk my dogs. There was also a strange path cut into the woods behind the property. While is was coming into the building a large man came up from the path.
I went back to my car until he left.

the property was right off the highway, but there is no night staff to check in, thankfully i checked in early. The entrance at night was filled w drunks, druggies and undesirables. thankfully the entrance was locked and you needed a card to get in. The hotel itself was fairly clean but we didn't feel comfortable at all and checked out the next morning and we did get our money back for the rest of the days. maybe for a single man driving for business and needs a quick place to stay it might be OK but not for us.

The only issue that i had was the fact that they charge almost double the room rate for a security deposit which i think is a little excessive.

I was in shock that the check in desk closed at 7:30pm like it’s 1980 again but we didn’t have a wash tv remote but was able to get someone to get us one she was amazing asked for extra pillows but didn’t get any so only get one pillow if there is two of you I have to be at a 45• angle and there was black mole in the shower area when told check out of this they acted like that they don’t care also there was non coffee pot dishes or nothing but have a small kitchen area also there was dirty wash rags in dresser drawers and string smelling weed that is not legal in this area

All the staff except Rebecca (the manager) were pleasant and helpful. She rubbed me the wrong way when I asked about towels to Kerry and Floyd. She butted her way into our conversation and was very rude and unaccommodating. The washers and dryers did not work how they should have. I wasted so much time dealing with the washer and dryer machines due to the washers not accepting credit cards. The hotel did not have any quarters to accommodate their guests. Kerry was very helpful considering the situation and supplied me with some. As I was at the dryer inserting coins it kept rejecting them as Kerry was helping me, in that instance the manager Rebecca barged in with what seemed to be a personal problem, one that should not have been directed at me being I am a guest of the property. She said Kerry COME out to the reception as if I was oblivious and not a paying customer who needed help. I asked her if she was the manager because I really could not tell. I told her about my problem, and she did not respond as a “manager” should, by saying to me I can check out if I am not satisfied. My clothes are not dry at this point, and I am pissed right now! She says,Call the number. Another guest was in the laundry room, he told me that she is a B* very rude, and always saying that to guests. I’m in my last quarter and the machine stole my money, so I went back to the reception area and waited in line, two guests who were checking in told me that she was rude on the phone to them. I would.

There were no staff working. I tried to check in but there were no after hours workers (approx. 7pm). Several customers were calling the after hours number, leaving messages with no response. After 30 minutes of no service we left and found a different hotel.
I fully expect to be refunded. We would love to have stayed there but they made it impossible to get the room we reserved.

I booked a room through hotels.com for my 2 sisters to stay in town while I was recovering from heart surgery. The first room (#213) had black mold growing around the A/C unit, so they were moved to #220. There was none of the amenities (coffe pot, pots and pans, silverware) that were advertised to be in the room. A coffee pot was finally brought to the room. The fridge made an ungodly noise, so they unplugged it and it was replaced the next day. Most of the time, my sisters were with me, only returning to the room to sleep. When they checked out, there a $150 deposit on the bill that they said I would get back in 3-5 days. After 4 business days, I had not seen a credit on my card and went and talked to the girl working the desk, who was very curt. I got a receipt and did not look at it closely until after I got home. There was a $3.61 debit from my refund for "phone- long distance" calls. Having cell phones, my sisters had no reason to use the hotel phone for long distance calls. I went back and talked to the same girl, Rebecca, who was downright rude this time (there are previous comments from guest about her rudeness). She said there were three calls made from that room. The ONLY three calls made on the room phone was to call the front desk to get moved from the moldy first room, have someone come look at the noisy fridge, and to get a coffee pot that should have been in there to start with. NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS! I will be having a conversation with corporate.

Staff when checking in was friendly. They require a $150.00 deposit in case the room is smoked in or trashed. They did refund it after 7days. Room was filthy. Feet were black after walking from shower to side of bed. Sinks hadn’t been cleaned. Sheets and towels were clean.

Could not check in until after 3 pm on Saturday. Arrived at 4:30. Office closed at 4. Had to call an offsite person and 30 minutes later a grumpy associate arrived and never spoke. Took 10 more minutes to get checked in. Also, had to give Id and he made a copy of it. I asked Rebecca the manager to give it back to me at check out and she rudely said she wouldn’t. Credit card information and Id now on file for any one to take. I travel often and have never had driver’s license photo copied.

I do not know because they don’t even check me in after arrived at 2 :30 am while I spoke to the manager before arriving to the place no one there I stayed in my care for the rest of the time and when I spoke to manager He told me he canceled my reservation with out telling why

There was a lingering stale smoke smell - former smoker so I know it well, I had to go buy Lysol spray to spray everywhere! One small pillow and handle on refrigerator was really dirty. I used ear plugs and the freeway was so noisy, I’d suggest double pane windows on that side at least.

The place smelled like weed right off the bat. There was no towels in my room. No dishes. No phone. I waited a solid 20 mins for someone to even show up to check me in.

I had never stayed in one, and I thought it was an average hotel and in the end I realized that it is one of those hotels where homeless people stay for weeks and you find people of all kinds around you. And there is too much noise at dawn, people can be heard walking and slamming doors to go outside to smoke, very unpleasant.

Horrible. No one in office. Heater broke had to swich rooms. Sink cracked. Dirty. Cold floors. People smoking pot in hall. No amenities. WILL NEVER GO BACK

I was sooooo disappointed I never stay at an extended stay and wasnt sure what to expect but the room I had to purchase sheets for the bed the mattress cover was filthy it soned in Tennessee while I was there and the heater in my room wasnt working im from the Bahamas so imagine how cold I was after four days of complaining to front desk and nothing happened I had to use the stkve to keep warm , they never clean my room I had to purchase mop and broom to clean I will never stay at that hotel ever again the hotel was full of undesirable tentant in sorry choose this because of your description you need to have someone sceret shop because they are not up to your standards.

What you actually get at this place vs. what Hotels.com tells you you are getting are two different things. This is a place where people who are down and out are just trying to get by. Zombies, meth addicts, poor and desperate, etc etc. People live here and stand out front complaining and smoking and screaming at staff. The staff are doing their best with a lot of unnecessary rules. For example. I had to provide my debit card which was not just used as a hold, but they ran it and charged my card and DID NOT return money to my bank account for 5 business days. I was absolutely screwed because I needed that money to live. THIS CHARGE WAS IN ADDITION TO THE HOTELS.COM fee. I had to keep resetting my key because it wouldn’t work. The hallways smell like whatever everyone is cooking in their room. I was nauseous. The elevator didn’t work as it should. Again. The staff was cool with what they had to work with. But they are depressed and going through the motions because this place is just sad.

Arrived at about 11pm and was told that they had in fact received my booking but day shift did not reserve my room. This cost me over $90 plus gas and time because the only hotel with a room was 15 minutes in the wrong direction. Contacted Expedia and that guy wasn’t very smart and was zero help. Expedia or Woodspring should send me a check for $90. And I’ll never book at Woodspring again. Not happy.

Had a "GUARANTEED" reservation. Paid for it, but was turned away, as no clean rooms were available. NOT our fault, so we SHOULD get a REFUND!! Had to drive through that night to get home (6-and-a-half extra hours of driving.) Drove all night. Were exhausted!!

I did not stay I canceled this reservation because we could not get in the building we called the number after 3:00 and got voicemail we tried for 45 minutes to get into this building and get our room then I tried to call hotel.com for help and I did try canceling I do not want to be or should not be charged for this thing we had to go somewhere else to stay

How unprofessional is it that what is supposed to be a hotel, advertises as a hotel, closes the front desk at 4pm on a Saturday when there is a 3pm check-in. How unprofessional is it that there is a number to be called "afterhours" that isn't answered? How unprofessional is that when calling this property the call is hungup when answered? This isn't a hotel it is a FLOP HOUSE. Don't stay here. showed up to check in but never did get checked in. Don't try to charge me for a no show when the staff were the no shows.

I will never stay here ever, and I will let everyone know about this lousy hotel. Its fraud when you book the room and then the person tells you there a $150.00 charge for damages you might do. I do a lot of traveling as a consultant, but I will never ever stay in one of your hotels You may thank Mr. Floyd Simpson for his attitude condensing ignorance ways stated to me do you know who I am told him I don't care who he is Hes sitting behind the counter. Then he threatens me I will cancel you reservation and I have the power to do that. If this is the way to treat people to come to Tennessee then I don't need this hotel and I will make sure everyone one of my consultants in my company will never stay at your hotel. I will let the headquarters of woodSpring know how I was treated at this place of business.
I left walked 50 feet over found a nicer hotel.

We did not stay there and we will be disputing the charge. They wanted 150.00 deposit(previously undisclosed) the place is a dump, and they have bedbugs. YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY HERE!

I reserved a single queen bed room and paid for it all online with my card, arrived and had to wait for the front desk person at least 10 minutes to finally come down to check me in to be notified then that I would have to pay 150 dollar deposit that was not made aware to me even online the paper on the desk said it would be put back on my card when I checked out the next morning well that was a lie/false advertisement because I called back up there after check out and they explained it would be 3-5 business days now what if that was my last 150 dollars and I absolutely needed that the very next day as the paper stated then what?! Also I get up to my room and it’s not a single queen bed I got a room with double beds go to use the restroom and I have absolutely no toilet paper in the room anywhere, they didn’t even have any of the complementary shampoos or conditioner. There was no where to get ice as most places have an ice machine these days. Tried to turn on the wall unit for a little heat and it smelt like it was going to catch on fire so I turned that off. Let’s just say that I’ve had much better stays at other hotels and I’m not sure I will be back.

They wouldn’t let me check in became I was only me. I was told that I need two people even though I was by myself. I was charged for you room but, wasn’t a load to check in.

We were just in town briefly but we found our room to be clean and the office staff person friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms, 5 people and 5 dogs. The person who checked us in was great. Very helpful with getting everything done expediently knowing we had animals. Our room was clean but missing blankets which the same staff member brought to us quickly after a call to the front desk. The rest of our party checked in later and found they also didn't have blankets and were told they property may be out of them. Eventually, they were brought fresh, clean blankets. The next morning as we were preparing to check out, the same staff person was going to rooms and gathering linens and cleaning them. Come to find out, he is the only employee on the property right now and is doing all of the jobs there. He hadn't had a day off in over seven days. I think it just brought home how the world has changed and how the lack of workers effects things. Kudos to him for persevering and taking what could have been awful and making sure it wasn't. There may be a large lack of work ethic in the world, but this man proves that there are workers out there that go well above and beyond to take care of others. I would definitely stay again, just because he is so wonderful.

Was fine for what it was - a budget hotel for long stays. Certainly worth the money since it was half the cost of other long stay hotels, but it is a budget hotel. Charged extra if you wanted to use dishes, relatively small room for a longer stay. Neighborhood was fine, some food options near by and felt safe and clean. Would stay again if needed
