They are renovating so the updated parts of the hotel are nice. Room was clean though the face on the AC unit was falling off and loud. Breakfast was standard fair but good. Biggest issue is parking, there's not a lot and it's not helped by the construction.

The hotel was undergoing renovation during our stay. Had to move rooms because the TV did not work. In the second room, the A/C unit was a noisy terror that rumbled awake on at random times during our stay. The breakfast was adequate, but the cleanliness needs improvement - brown strands of bacterial sludge came out of the juice spigots.
The hotel is clearly understaffed and the staff did their best. To the hotel's credit, the front desk manager was quick to resolve issues and very understanding when we made inquiries. Housekeeping schedule was nonexistent - they came around late afternoon when we returned to the room for a break. There was garbage gathered in the hall for rooms because of the poorly timed housekeeping schedule.
Also, the pet policy is not clear or available on the website. There is a deposit and charge for pets - which is fine, but would like to know upfront during the planning process. Also, they were unable to refund the pet deposit after the room examination because of a system issue - still working on this.

The stay was a 4/10 O will not stay again for the price to stay plus a $100 deposit the internet in the rooms should work and I should have been able to have more than 6 channels on the tv. And the last night stay the lights went out in the entire building and stayed out for longer than needed to, I traveled with a 3 month old I feel that I should’ve been compensated for my stay

The manager was helpful, but we did have a little trouble at check-in and had to change rooms because the refrigerator and microwave were not working. But he was very helpful and we get moved.
My only complaint in the room was a rather short, small toilet.
I recommend staying here.

The room was clean and comfortable. The only part that wasn't acceptable was the drunk woman in the hall in the middle of the night yelling and banging on a door, which caused a dog to bark. Needless to say, we will be hesitant to book there again.

Room was okay. Not the cleanest and wasn’t stocked well. Whoever is running the hotel has terrible customer service, just wants people to waste their money. Front desk staff is nice .

The place is OK for an unplanned stay. The bed linen and bathroom were spotless. Liked the more than one secured access doors to the building. The front desk representatives were very friendly and professional. The dirty TV remote control, the noisy heater and the dingy elevator were some of the negatives that stucked to my mind.

but above all else the people ARE GREAT
Farhan WAS AWESOME!

It was a very clean room and very comfortable

The staff was very nice. The clean was really nice, the breakfast was very good. Only complaints were they are doing renovations on the site and the elevator was out of service.

The bathroom faucet was loose even though it was new. The exhaust vent in the ceiling in the bathroom was very, very dirty. Even though the facility was being remodeled, the elevator was out of order and the steps has loose stair tread that are loose where someone could trip and fall.

We had high expectations for our stay; sadly these were dashed. Upon arrival, the front lobby was absent of any furnishing with exception of the desk for check-in. Huge refurbishing was ongoing but we had not been previously informed. We nearly missed finding the hotel because of a lack of signage. We had requested an accessible room but what we were given was not that. The fridge was nasty and had to be cleaned out. The closet had what the lady at the front desk said looked like dog poop. The tub was extremely slow draining and there were no hand-holds. Television was not connected to cable or anything else for that matter. I could go on. We stayed two nights, but we were given a 15% discount because of these issues for one night only. Overnight, the back doors to the hotel were NOT locked (we checked both) so anyone could have gotten into the hotel to initiate mischief or worse. We did not feel safe, and we could not enjoy our stay. We will most definitely never stay at that hotel again nor will we consider other La Quinta Inns in the future. This used to be a good brand, but over the past few years we have noticed the quality sliding. It is a shame.

The property was great for the breakfast provided, but the hotel was doing renovation and on the day of checkout the elevator was out of service.

This property is undergoing a remodel and while there are some nice parts of the rooms, there are still a lot of issues.
In my room there were several lights that didn't work, power chords jumbled up next to the bed, white stains on the curtain, and missing screws form the security latch on the door.
Several safety issues to: exterior doors didn't latch, masking tape covering fire alarm, tape covering hallway smoke detectors

Looked for dog friendly hotel; when I checked in, there was a $25/day additional fee plus $250 deposit. I was NOT prepared for this. Hotel is under construction/renovation. No chair, phone, checkout info, sugar and spoons for coffee, "do not disturb" signs for door. The "free" breakfast was okay. Coffee urns in lobby used for breakfast time, so not available to those not going to breakfast.

Renovations are under way but still enjoyable. The guy taking care of the breakfast did a wonderful job of keeping up with food and cleaning up.

Run down under massive renovations so we didn't stay. Front desk person excellent and understanding.

The property is under construction, which affected parking, missing ceiling tiles on lobby and other places, our room looked recently refreshed but the work was sloppy, bathroom faucet handle came off in my hand and the toilet seat was falling off... and our smoke detector was on a shelf in the closet instead of installed in the room. We'll pick a different place during our next stay. At least the counter was nice and helpful recommending a place to eat.

Hotel is undergoing renovation, which I understand. But, staff was uncaring. Room phone was not even connected. Internet wifi did not work. No room service even though room only had one set of towels on initial check in. Room furniture was not comfortable.

When we pay full price for a motel room we dont want to come in to a full reservation going on with sheetrock dust everywere.rooms should have been half price and let people know that all that work is going on so we can make a better decision about where to stay

The hotel was doing renovations. Our room was very clean! The staff that we did interact with were very friendly and polite. The construction worker during the day were also friendly and polite. I believe there are some homeless that are staying there that did bug some people. This same person asked for a cigarette every time she saw my wife or I. After telling her a few times that I don’t smoke she called me rude.
I will stay there again.

Stayed for a night for our anniversary. The room was clean and bathroom was very nice. Sleeping was terrible. The mattress was absolutely awful to the point that I got more sleep on the floor with a comforter. It felt like a terrible mattress that comes with a cheap camper. The walls/doors are also very thin, as we could hear absolutely everything going on around the room. This was not as much as a bother as the bed though. I debated whether to sleep in our truck or not but settled on the floor instead. The staff was pleasant although the elevator was having issues so my 8month pregnant wife and I had to take the 3 flights of stairs instead.

I have stayed at this La Quinta a half dozen times over the years and this will probably be the last time I come here. As others have mentioned, there is a large construction / remodel project going on out front and a portion of the parking spaces are taken up with construction bins and equipment. The hotel never mentioned it in their adds.
One of the nice things about this location used to be the paved bike trail and picnic area behind the hotel. It was perfect if you were travelling with your dog or children. Now it is a hang out for the local riff raff and shady types. I was approached by a 6 foot tall panhandler asking for beer money and that was something that had never happened during my previous visits. There are other hotels across Route 235 that I can stay at and I will probably go to one of those next time.

Love the renovation done, staff gave me an upgrade, clean and spacious

I thought it was nice for a reasonably priced hotel. The desk clerk was
particularly helpful answering all my questions and helping me track down
a bottle of water.
In terms of cleanliness -- the lobby and halls feel kind of so/so, but
the room itself was no problem. It seemed like they did a perfectly fine
job cleaning the bathroom and the area near the bed.

There is a lot of construction going on the building currently.

Bugs. No ice. Pool was green. Ac not working correctly. Stains on sheet

The staff was great. My only complaint was both rooms were infested with ants. They even managed to find their way inside the mini fridge.

They are renovating. That should have been announced. The pool was not open. It looked filthy in the room across the hall from me due to renovation. The front desk made two sets of keys for me that did not work. I had to use the janitor key. My 93 year old mom and I were on the floor with dogs barking. Sim rind was smoking & it came into my room. It was plain awful & inconvenient. The staff was very nice. They did the best they could.

(I don't have super high standards)
My stay was perfectly fine. The room was comfortable enough. They warned in advance that housekeeping doesn't come in unless you request it, so whatever. Also learned the the pool is closed through reviews on here; that's fine too. The breakfast was decent and stayed open longer than other hotels I've been at, so I enjoyed that. Getting a discount at the Mexican place next door is also nice.
Random comments:
- There were a set of used towels under my sink. I asked someone to come get them on Day 2 but they were there when I got back that evening
- I asked that the body wash, shampoo and conditioner get refilled. They were not. Ended up not washing my hair and using the bar of hand soap in the shower.
- Front desk coverage can be spotty.
- The elevator always stops on 2 (if you're going to 3) even if no one hits that button and no one is waiting for it there

The front desk supervisor and the Breakfast Room worker Allen were both outstanding workers. Since the 1st floor was being renovated there was dust and the inconvenience of construction workers everywhere.

The pool was closed until further notice. Staff had no idea when it was going to be open. Computers in lobby were not available. Dirty common areas: halls, elivater, stairs...
There is trash and weeds all around the outside of the hotel. Bushes had been trimmed and clippings were left on,in & around the bush. Now the dried dead clipping

Wonderful team! Pet friendly and just right!
The elevator was not working properly and inconvenient.
Team was kind and professional. Especially Brittany and the morning team member. (Sunday)
Excited to see you soon!
Thank you!

There was no disclosure that the pool was closed indefinitely nor was there any mention that the hotel was under construction. One of the reasons we chose to stay here was for the pool. We also did not appreciate the "long term residents" asking for money outside of the hotel, at night.

They were undergoing a lot of construction and the swimming pool was not available to us. We had planned on using the pool. Had we known ahead of time, we would have stayed at another hotel.

Hotel under construction, Pool closed, cigarette butts every where outside..
