First time staying at this hotel. This stay makes my hotel of choice when staying in Longview. Service was excellent from check in to check out. Staff very friendly, and helpful. No complaints.

My son broke down outside of Shreveport on his way back to college. We were able to get him towed into Longview and booked a prepaid room for him at this hotel. Upon his arrival they wouldn't let him check in because he's 20 and not 21. The room was prepaid and he just needed a safe place to sleep for the evening. They still would not allow him to stay even with a credit card on file. Luckily I was able to find him a place where they asked if he was a responsible 20 year old. Im not sure if there is much of a difference between 20 and 21 year old but glad we found a place for him to stay for a few hours before the shop opened to get him back on the road.

The floors are not sound proof, all night the 3 floor persons walk so hard could hear clearly very restless if sleep is needed

Everything were amazing. Just don't pass up the comfortable stay at Candlewood Suites - Longview TX. Candlewood is very affordable. Will be back in the next months.

Water pressure is very low, toilet handle didn't work. This was room #100. I smelled Marijuana while walking to our room, but it says non smoking.

We really enjoyed our stay here while our RV was being repaired. It was very clean, the bed was comfy, and staff were very friendly. We made use of the gym and loved having a kitchen. Will definitely stay here again.

Booked a 2 BR suite on hotels.com 4 days ahead of time. On arrival we went to the room and it was one bed ( queen) and a chair. It made Motel 6 look roomy. The front desk lady was nice but limited. She called the GM & she proceeded to lecture me on how hotels.com is terrible. I just wanted my room or something close. They said my room was changed a day before And the initials On the change were that of the GM. She of course denied it but couldn’t explain it. The GM was rude & refused to help make any accommodations. I asked for my money back and a receipt Showing my cc charges had been. Front desk girl (only pleasant person) couldn’t do it/ called GM again who refused her call & left her hanging. She called another manager at a hotel she knew & got it done. Worst customer service I have had in a while. GM was a jerk. Hotel was unkempt and not well Cared for. So glad we bailed. Went to Hilton Garden Inn (hotels.com) and hotel & Service were great !!

Hotel was just what we needed. It was larger than expected. Beds were comfortable. A few things in the bathroom needed cosmetic fixes. 1 hand towel was stained, but we used the other one that was nice and white. The kitchenette was nice. No pool or breakast, but we only needed a bed.

Check-in went okay, employee was friendly but didn’t go over amenities and locations. Elevator was dirty, rooms smelled stale and carpets were stained, hair was all over comforter, bathrooms were messy and used rag was left behind in bathtub. I didn’t even stay my second but wasn’t eligible for refund so I just booked somewhere else.

The Hotel was very clean. The room was very clean, except for sticky stuff on the floor under the bar, which apparently was missed while cleaning. I cleaned it up. Cleaning staff was vacuuming the hallways at 8am. It was very loud too early in the morning. I asked one cleaning lady about that. She said they have told the manager about people still sleeping that early. She said the manager didn't care about that. She wanted all the common areas cleaned before they start their shift of cleaning rooms. The Hotel was exceptionally clean, which we all like, but vacuums do not need to be running down the hall so early in the morning. Also, NO BREAKFAST, ugh.

The staff here were consistently friendly, eager to help, even though this was the cheapest hotel I could find with a kitchen. The parking is very poor, surprisingly small lot, full of full-size pickups, and the workers using the hotel will often leave a little dirt here and there, but were all friendly people. The building is in poor shape, and my room was in poor shape. A lot of things needed to be repaired. But it was clean, and I don't really care too much that the lamp is crooked and the wall is chipped. The kitchen was functional, not enough silverware, but it all worked. They have free coffee at the lobby. Given that nicer hotels have ruined their free breakfast, this is a better option. I hope no one staying here is expecting anything fancy, because you're not paying for fancy. If everything is clean, and everyone is friendly, that's enough for me.

We were unable to find availability and found this hotel last minute. Room was clean and quiet at a good price. Computer system made check in a little longer that we wanted at such a late hour. All in all, we would stop there again.

King suite 1 bedroom, very nice space for our stay. Room had a refrigerator, stove top, microwave, full bedroom, living area, desk and a large bathroom. The only complaint I have it that there was only a sink in the bathroom, and no countertop. There was more than enough space for a countertop. But overall the room was one of the best we have stayed in over the last few years. It was clean, roomy, and I would definitely book here again.
