We stayed overnight at Birches Motel as we had an early international flight out the next morning. The motel is in the middle of Reno’s and upgrading the rooms but we found our room to be perfect! Clean and comfortable which was just what we needed. Would happily stay there again!
The shuttle picked us up at the airport which was great. No shuttle in the morning as we left at 5am but that was fine. Overall great overnight stay😊

It’s very clean and very convenient for the airport but also very basic. We stayed twice, once on the way in and again on the way back. The room on the first visit was much better than the second visit. The staff are lovely.

Great location for the airport, best bed i slept on while on South Island. Little bit of noise from departing guests at about 5.45am
