This hotel is conveniently located for the railway and city. The rooms were clean and the staff super helpful. Although simple, breakfast was very good.

We had a great view of the cathedral that is across the street from our room. There's a beautiful butanical garden next to the cathedral to check out. The local food shops and pubs are pretty good. The train station is a short 10min walk if you want to check out other local communities, wineries or even the beach.

As many others say, it is basic- the bare minimum. We went during a heatwave and with no AC and not even a fan, we hardly slept for how hot we were, even with the window open.
A shower curtain would be nice so as not to spend your shower time trying not to drench the toilet paper near by. Or, get rid of the showerhead and only offer a bath.
No cable access, just local channels.
It is well located and we walked to the gardens and the art museum in a quick 5 to 8 kins.
If they offered an oscillating fan in all rooms, I would probably stay again, bur never in the summer! Too hot to sleep.
NO PARKING. I think unless you already KNOW to contact the hotel for the mysterious 10 euro parking, your going to pay about 40 euro for overnight street parking.
