Rundown, outdated motel. So much foot traffic, noise, questionable people coming and going at all hours. Outlet in the bathroom didn’t work. Walls and door are in need of cleaning and a paint job. Picture on the wall had who knows what splashed all over it. You can hear everything going on outside. Pretty sketchy.

Cute spot with old time feel and look. Beds were comfy and rested well.

I reserved my room through Expedia. When I got there, they did not have a room available. Then when they made a room change. The Heater was broken in our room and it was 38 degrees outside and not much warmer inside. The employee tried to fix the heater but it barely worked and we froze all night. Every tile on the bathroom floor is broken. I almost cut my feet. The carpet looked like it has not been cleaned in 10 years. I don’t even wanna know what’s on the bottom of my feet now. I felt like I was gonna fall through the shower floor. The dead bolt lock did not work in room 32.

Well where to start? This place is a dump....LONG past it's prime. The chairs in the room where stained and filthy, outside the garbage cans on both floors overflowing, carpet filthy. In short pretty darn grim and we do not complain easily!
The manager grudgingly gave us a couple of extra pillows when we asked...
Toilet just barely flushed, water pressure very low...on a good note there was hot water!
But without a doubt the worst property we have stayed at in a LONG time!
If you need to stay in Shelton and this is the only place available....sleep in your car! Much better option!

we were travelling in our motorcycles, and taking the ferry from port Angeles the next day. We booked this hotel, because it was a couple hours away, and at the end of our day … so I judicious spot to stop overnight. For the price, we didn’t expect luxury, and we didn’t get it. The room was OK. The Wi-Fi was nonexistent. The owners were little gruff, but the employees were all right. The restaurant next-door is good, with delicious pies. Notwithstanding, travelling on a budget, we would probably stay there again.

Terrible check-in procedure... I was there at 12:30pm office was locked with a phone number posted that went directly to voice mail, which was full. Came back mid afternoon and had to pound on the outside employee entrance to get help. Very poorly run.

Terrible check in experience. Received a VM at 5:22 telling me I hadn't checked in yet, and to let me know that if I am going to check in after 9:30 to give them a call. Got to the property at 5:40 to check in, and was greeted with a locked door and a hand written sign that said, "Sorry Call me" with a number to call. Called the number went straight to VM stating the VM was full. Called the number to the Hotel, no answer. Not able to check in. Drove around the drug addict infested town, continued to call the hotel until someone answered. An old asian man finally answered, but was incredibly difficult to understand. Went check in with a little old korean couple that owned the place. Couldn't speak to them let alone understand anything they said. The place is SUPER old and outdated, (floor lamps & landline phones) rooms are dirty, they have the nastiest carpets, and the room smelled like cat piss. Open the back window and all you see are drug addicts sleeping in the grass of church behind the hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but out of toilet paper. Facility is old and tired. So is furniture. Max volume setting was so low that the tv could not be heard if you were over 3 ft away. Several full garbage cans located right outside room doors were full and some overfull. Not many choices for motels in Shelton. Will try elsewhere next time.

The Shelton Motel worked fine for a one-night stay on our way back from the Olympics. The cable TV was great and internet connection was fine, which are primarily what I needed. Road was busy during the day but quieted down at night. Bed is old, no extra pillow or blanket. Nice town with several restaurants.

Stairs dangerous, shower way too short, TV needs adjustment for contrast and brightness overall exterior needs an overhaul

Office closes at 9:00 pm. Opens at 8 am the next morning. If you need anything during the closure time, it is impossible to contact the hotel management. Office is locked. No person on duty. Even though they live on the premises, they won't answer the phone. If you accidently lock yourself out or need anything, you are on your own.

When asked for towels they didn’t want give us any and took them 10 minutes to even open the door so we can check in

The Shelton Inn is very old. We were spending New Year's Eve at Little Creek Casino, which was $400.00 per night and sold out. This was the closest and 5 miles away. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Clean towels. There is shampoo and soap, but no hair dryer. The room smells, so we had to air out. The smell came back while we were gone. The shower works well. We were on the 2nd floor, so not sure how other rooms were. I would never stay here again unless they did something with the smell.

Not fancy but everything worked as expected. Sheets and room were clean, bed comfortable.

The property and room were clean. The neighboring room was a bit noisy.

Would not stay here again. The whole building was very tired and old. The room had a suspect smell, peeling paint and squishy floor. Wifi did not work. Not sure the pillow shams that serve as the pillowcases get washed. Seems to have a long term room rental population.

We tried calling ahead of time4 times but got no answer! Upon arrival the owners shuffled out and we’re not friendly at all; Almost like we were disturbing them! The Mariners were playing in the playoffs and I asked if we could get them on their lobby TV but they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about! Check-in took longer than it should have and I was anxious to watch this important game. When he finally finish he gave me a key and said “there room 40 go to your room!“
Room 40 was next to the employees only room and there was a bag of garbage next to another full garbage can! I sealed up the one bag and secure the lid on the can to keep the flies away!
The room is nice enough. The refrigerator, the air conditioning, and the TV worked fine. We went to see a musical group just down the street and so the location was just right. I doubt if we would stay there again.
The housekeeping lady was very nice but the owners seem like they should get out of the business as they didn’t seem to enjoy their job!

The room was at 95F when I got in at 9:00pm, it took two hrs for the tiny A?C to cool it down to a decent sleeping temperature and I paid $145 for that.
SHAME ON YOU! Your job is HOSPITALITY, don't you dare forget about it!

Cleanliness wasn’t a priority and the guest above us were up till wee morning and many showers were taken by same gusts from 11:00 pm till said wee hours!
Front desk and check in was wonderful.
They just need to really clean the rooms!

The Shelton Inn was and is the filthiest dirty hotel we have ever stayed in, old drapes that reeked of cigarette smoke, clogged bathroom sink drain, old dirty paint on doors and walls, filthy fridge, transient homeless drug facility directly behind hotel, hole in the door where the deadbolt lock spun around freely, we went to the store got lysol wipes and bed bug spray and wiped everything off, we stayed away from the hotel as much as possible, only slept and showered, nowhere outside to sit and drink a cup of coffee, woke up every morning with headaches from smoke infested room.Totally Disgusting, never go back !
