The property and facilities were great, very clean and easy to get to. With the motel-type entrance, we were able to park right out in front. The ground was a bit muddy, but easily managed. The ready made breakfast was a nice change compared to the normal continental breakfast. It was a bit loud- we could hear the trucks going back and forth on the road outside.

I brought my pet for one night, during my one week stay, told staff that the pet was no longer there and not to charge the pet fee. I ended up extended my stay for an extra day. I asked to for a receipt for the previous days and I was charged the pet fee for the rest of the week. If I had just left and never asked for that receipt, I never would have known. The rooms are very dark and with what little lighting you have, you have to unplug lights just to make a coffee, and you can hear everything!! The people stomping upstairs, the cart that gets rolled by every night when you are trying to sleep.There is absolutely no sound guarding on these rooms.

We had a lovely night! The beds are kind of old and one was kind of lopsided, but it was comfortable and the room was clean! It’s dated, the flooring is old, but overall it was good.

When I booked Travelodge, Dawson Creek I knew it was an older hotel. From the moment I walked in the office to check-in I was greeted by very friendly staff who even gave out a cookie treat and bottle water! I knew based on their listing that breakfast was inculded and I assumed it was similar to most other hotel chain breakfasts, nothing exciting. But here you receive a voucher for a real breakfast from their attached restaruant. I ate dinner in the restaruant which was also very good! The room was spotless with a great tv package. I was returning from a 3 week motorcycle tour to the Yukon and Alaska so being able to relax after long days on the bike and watch decent tv was great. Thanks for the great job!!

Property totally run down..looks like a crack head motel.Toilet would not flush, carpet had something sticky all over, air conditioner was LOUD and moldy smelling, pillows were about 50 years old…worn out and filling all pilled and separated. Worst motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Wyndham- shame on you for putting your name on such a disgusting place.

The owners were very nice and had amazing customer service, going above and beyond to make certain that our needs were met. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this Travelodge to others and be happy to stay there again!

Call property in advance to let them know you have a dog. This by far is the best pet friendly room we have stayed in. The flooring is laminent and the room smelled clean. They had special blankets just for the dog. Spacious room if you wanted to setup a kennel. Would stay here again.

Never going back. The hotel was right beside the road. I was barely able to sleep due to the noise from the road. I asked for the refund so i can go to some other hotels they didnt allow it. So i had to stay allnight. Dont even think about this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. My only issue was that the hotel caters mostly to shift workers so we had to hear the guy above us stomping around and getting ready for work in the very early hours of the morning.

The furnishings were all high quality, the room was well insulated against noise and everything was very clean. Staff and management were professional, friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was actually a made-to-order meal at the adjacent restaurant - so much better than typical hotel continental breakfasts. Everything about the place was a very pleasant surprise as the quality of affordable hotel rooms seems to have been declining for a long time now. This was the best place we stayed at during our road trip through BC and we will totally stay there again next time we’re in Dawson Creek.

Hi stayed 2 nights at the Travelodge Hotel in Dawson Creek. While staff were very friendly and efficient however I would not stay here again. I tried several times to unlock my door to no avail. Staff came right away and while swiping card key very slowly they opened the door first time. Then I could turn on the tv with the remote. Again staff had to attend and press button on on the tv. Then there were limited channels. The carpet in thebroom had a huge ripple in it between the 2 beds which could cause a fall. Carrying luggage up 2 flights of stairs outside is not easy to do. There are no elevators. Lastly, I couldn't turn on the shower. Another call to the front desk revealed at the bottom of the spout is to be pulled down to activate shower. We've never been to Dawson Creek. It was dark when we arrived. There was construction. We were told if we were arriving after 8:00 pm we may have to call the desk so they could let us in. When we arrived we used Google maps and we went to the door. It was locked. We rang the bell 2x and saw the front desk girl walk past the door, go into the back, then walk back the other way. She came out another doir that we didnt even see because we came from the ipposite direction. Apparently we were at the restaurant door. There is a sign above the other door that says "Office" but we would have only seen that if we drove past the hotel and came back. The front desk girl said daid "Yeah, you were at the restaurant door." I replied we didnt realize there was even another door because the sign faces the street and we pulled in from the side. She said "Well, was it hard?" I felt it was kind of rude, because if you've never been there before, the sign is not visable from the 3 directions someone can come in from, there was construction out front and it was confusing. The next morning we went for breakfast and we filled out the order forms and set them on the table, the waitress didnt greet us, she grabbed the orders off the table and walked away to put them into the kitchen. We had to ask for water. She didnt ask if there was anything we needed, we had to stop her before she dropped the food on the table and left, to ask for hot sauce.
