This is a wonderful place to stay while in Volterra, very ** sweet place. The breakfast was by far the best one so far for us from Rome, Florence to Volterra! They also have a very nice cafe/bar up on the roof. 5* for sure!

A wonderful experience. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent much more than expected. The family and staff were lovely and the location was fantastic. Right in the heart of the city, in the fortress, felt very safe and was quiet. I would stay here again

Lovely hotel. The owners are very kind and helpful. They offered great recommendations for the area. Paola and Danielle were so kind. The rooms were well appointed and the daily breakfast was delicious! Would definitely stay here again!

Terrific small hotel in the heart of the walled city.
The staff is excellent- warm and welcoming.
The rooms vary in size but are quite nice.
Breakfast selection is outstanding.
Rooftop patio is a great place to escape the crowds of day visitors.
Have now stated here twice over a span of 2 years and highly recommend this gem.
