Stunning property! We stayed in the Sea Captain’s suite and it was spacious, clean and an unforgettable accommodation because it exudes old world charm which we loved. The courtyard was beautiful and it provided a peaceful oasis away from the crowds outside. The hotel’s porter will meet you once your driver drops you off at a designated area. Our porter carried our bags and climbed with them up the steps to the hotel. We were grateful for that service! The hotel manager, Takis, met us and showed us to our suite and we felt so taken care of immediately. We had arrived by ferry, and Takis also helped to arrange our transportation to and from the port. We stayed two nights and breakfast each morning was served in the courtyard and was amazing! There was always too much food and so beautifully presented and laid out we took pictures of our breakfast each morning! We would stay again at 1864 The Sea Captains House should our travels bring us back to beautiful Santorini!

This location gets a 10 rating. Excellent location, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very attentive. Below our balcony is where all the popular Blue Dome photos are taken.

One of the best vacation we had. Santorini is amazing and staying at Sea Captains was the most wise decision we made. Property is beautiful, I think it has the best location on the island. The service, what can I say, First class all the way. Takis and his staff, They pamper us from the time we wake up in the morning with coffee, breakfast in our villa, and he made sure we are taken care through the day with suggestions and setting up places to visit and eat. We will be back and strongly recommend.
