Maple Leaf was a disaster. I was trying to fall asleep but the room fridge is really loud every time it runs. Also, heat doesn’t work well so it’s kind of cold. 2 am, I’m sort of awake. All of a sudden, WITHOUT KNOCKING, someone makes the door lock beep open and is opening the door. Thank the Lord we had the chain on. So I start screaming like a banshee. Hubby tells me to stop screaming. Ok, will do… We get up and it’s the motel manager with 2 state troopers. Telling us they got called to this room. Ok what? And what makes it ok to just waltz in at 2 am? Cops or no, I don’t think that’s legal… Never again!

very clean, but the glade plug in must have been on full blast since it was extremely aromatic in the room and it never dissipated. also, being woke. up at 8am with a snowblower for less than a 1/4 inch of snow right outside the window was less than ideal

I have been here multiple times and its always nice. Cabins are decorated so cute and clean. Its nice a peaceful and its close to restaurants. Thank you for a great stay.

Excellent stay!! Easy key pad check in, room had a nice kitchenette area with good sized mini fridge, Keurig, and then even left complimentary snacks. Bed was comfortable. Nicely decorated. Good amount of space. Definitely recommend!

My adult son and I booked two rooms for Christmas Eve to visit nearby family the next day. Maple Leaf was east to find, accommodating to my elderly dog and my son’s very late arrival. The rooms had everything we needed and were cozy and clean. Super easy check in and out - I felt safe walking my dog on the grounds, even late at night. Also, although I had the room closest to the road, it was very quiet overnight and I had a lovely nights sleep. Will definitely consider staying again

I was surprised as to how nice it was for the price. It was clean, felt like home, and there was much thoughtfulness put into the comfort of the room. They even provided free snacks, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches in the freezer. I would not hesitate to stay again.

I am pleasantly surprised by how nice everything is. My daughter is a student at UVM. This will be my new go to for the next three years. Clean, big comfortable bed.

We left as when we turned down the bed covers there were very tiny pinpoint bugs on the white sheets. I was literally shaking as this has never happened before in all the years of staying in motels.

Motel was old but well maintained. Lots of amenities like toaster in room, Starbucks coffee in Kuerig machine. Nice porch. Large room. Friendly check-in by staff

We really enjoyed the location and the kind and helpful amenities that came with the room. Contactless check in was perfect, and it made it easier to get in and relax. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Motel provided all services. Auto check in and check out was excellent. Cleanliness excellent. Not a new facility, but upgraded very nicely. Excellent value for price.

they gave the door code when you book online. so no need to check in or out in person. very convenient. complimentary snacks, water and breakfast were provided, very sweet.

We arrived at around 10:30 pm as we were running a bit late. The code for our door didn't work and the front desk was shut despite the website stating it remains open until 11pm but we called the number on the door and someone very quickly drove over and gave us a door key (she was a bit stern but it was the middle of the night so very understandable). The outside of the motel is very nice and welcoming and felt safe, the surroundings are very pretty. The rooms inside are also nice - they were very clean, with little to no bugs. The beds are very comfortable with a ton of blankets and we were left chips, noodle cups and a frozen breakfast meal (we didn't eat that one). We heard no noise. Despite the no smoking signs we could strongly smell weed outside the motel but it didn't bother us until we left. We were sad we were only staying one night! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

It seems like a decent property in a nice town but they overbooked the double rooms and ended up giving me a queen bed way too small and bouncy for 2 grown men. Had to keep it as it was only one night stay and we got in very late. Room was absolutely filled with mosquitos - definitely not all from our 2 second entrance as we had seen them outside. Room was not worth $165 for one night

So we got to the hotel and nobody was there to check us in and we had to call a number which at first wasn’t answered and wait in either the hot, boiling sun or under the mosquito-infested tree.
We were upgraded to a 2-bdrm apartment in good condition, but it had a lot of mosquitos inside and we were given the wrong key so we had to (again) wait for the correct key. Next to the house were 5 or 6 old cottages that looked like they were hit by miss Le attacks—-just total eyesores. Overall, it wasn’t so bad for the price at all, but the mosquitos were a problem (maybe in these parts they are almost everywhere?). In the end everything was fine, but my wife just got the creeps being so isolated from the rest of the hotel with the totally destroyed cottages and very limited outdoor lighting. I bet the main motel was better.

Even though the property is well maintained and clean, the beds were comfortable, our room was attended to everyday. The first two nights were great by the last night it got really rowdy by other guests until 230am. Even though the property tried to calm the situation I feel more could of been done. Unfortunately I will not be staying here again.

I don’t tend to have high expectations for motels, but this motel exceeded my expectations. The decor is cute and suiting for the area. The room was well organized and felt nice. Snacks and water are provided, just in case you arrive late, after any local food options close. The towels were great. They were soft, absorbent and actually wrap around your body, unlike most hotels nowadays. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. If I’m ever in the area again, I will stay here.
One tip. I was there for two nights and my room wasn’t serviced in my time there. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it’s something to be aware of.

Large room, ability to open windows for fresh air. Very quiet, slept soundly. Nicely located just outside town. Need to replace a screen as there are swarm’s of mosquitoes just outside.
