Chosen for convenience and security because it was close to the Gautrain and therefore easy to get to/from airport. It felt luxurious and the staff were lovely, attentive and friendly. Lovely, comfortable room with superb shower and very good views of the city. Lovely drink on the poolside deck before dinner, followed by a delicious meal in the restaurant (which felt a little soulless but the staff were lovely). Decent packed breakfast as we were checking out before breakfast service started. Very enjoyable (though brief) stay.

I loved this hotel so much, I booked another week in an upgraded room. I'll be leaving a 2nd review too, but as for my initial stay, everything was great. I was promptly greeted and assisted upon my arrival, I arrived early and was able to still receive early access to my room, every freaking thing I ate was delicious (lol), and the staff was very thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend adding the breakfast option to your booking as well and enjoy the convenience of the service because the food is delicious and that's both the self-serve items and the ones that the chefs cook to order. Some of the things that I found convenient was that there is an ATM in the lobby of the hotel, there's a bar, the pool and pool area are both 24 hours, and although there's power outages, I've never witnessed it stay off for more than 5 min. The wifi also doesn't go out either and that really helps a lot being that I work online. 5 star staff! 5 star stay! I'd recommend.

It was a wonderful and pleasant experience. Brilliant central location in Sandton, close to everything that matters. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming in all areas of Hotel. Rooms were spacious and comfortable if a little clinical - definitely designed more for business travellers. Food was good and overall nothing to complain about at all.

Booked at your own risk but highly advised to STAY AWAY!!! HR or whoever if your reading this please retrain ALL your front desk receptionist on proper customer service, and the worst of them all is the skinny kid on night shift his just terrible

They provided a free luxury van shuttle to and from Nelson Mandela square. We were advised not to walk at night or do so at our own risk… even though it’s only 450m by map. The hotel has a safe convenient drop off lane directly outside the door. It’s not fancy but it’s affordable, business like and safe.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Expedia are the worst provider to go through, reached the hotel and stated by staff the reservation had been cancelled and also the suite is no longer available! The lovely gentleman Reggie offered me the night stay as it was my honeymoon and stated he shall follow up later!

wonderfully run hotel based opposite Sandton train station that has a 20 minute link to the Airport reception staff very helpful , housekeeping staff very good breakfast buffet is excellent, nice clean big modern rooms good wifi service concierge excellent sandton is one of the best areas of joburg to stay in..

Located in a nice area, safe and with a convenient shuttle to transport you to the Mandela Square. However no mention of VIP benefits, and although I messaged the property in regards to my booking, when checking in they did not see my second booking.

Excellent property. I would really like to go back and stay again. I chose it for five reasons: 1. Located with Sandton, where I needed to be 2. Near the Gautrain 3. There Hop-on-hop-off bus stops to pick up from and drop clients back to this hotel. 4. No load shedding issues. 5. Not exorbitantly priced. I was delighted throughout. Even had a nice breakfast.

Very nice property right beside a shopping mall and many different restaurants. Nicer area to stay in. At night the lobby/bar area was quite busy with many people hanging out for drinks and food, nice atmosphere. There is a beautiful rooftop view with a pool, although it was too cold for the time I was there. It is a bit far from the airport about a 30 minute drive. I would stay here again due to the safer area and shopping around.

No acknowledgement of Hotels.com Gold status and VIP property. No mention of early check-in, late check out, room upgrade and discount on food bill. When mentioned staff looked surprised and unsure. Hotels.com should ensure that VIP properties are aware, otherwise please don't advertise them as such..

Nice property. Didn’t use the pool so I can’t say much about that. The service was very good. Precious at reception went above and beyond…she was excellent. The breakfast was very good and the service there was exceptional. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Customer service was top notch from check-in to check-out. Food in the restaurant was delicious. Had an issue with the first room and it was quickly handled. The second room was clean and a good size for two friends. I would recommend this hotel.

unfortunately the walls are very thick in this hotel. Each time I spoke with my husband I got nocks from the neighbors , room beside. All other experiences were very good. Best breakfast, best room , best view, safety and clean
