Quant, quiet and tranquil. It had everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The food and drinks were amazing. Evening entertainment was fun. Spa services were a plus and excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

There was no water access, kids got sick from the pool, only one place to eat and it wasn’t all that. We would not stay again.

Kimmy at check in was so helpful and friendly Krys our breakfast waitress was amazing We enjoyed all the breakfast selections. The beach and pool were perfect. We can’t wait to come again

They do not offer paddle boards at all even though they say they do. The beach is not great for snorkeling or swimming bc of sea urchins so that was also a bummer.

The staff was friendly and accommodating; however if you arrive on a Thurs or Friday you must make reservations at the hotels restaurants. Both on the grounds. They did not tell us that and it was uncomfortable(encounter to be denied seating) as the area is very dark to drive with winding hillside roads. Think about visiting an unknown area and having to search for dinning with an 81 year old individual! Let people know. In addition to that the breakfast cook(burnt pancakes everyday). No bueno!

Good value for the money. The rooms were clean and maintained well. The restaurant and bar staff are excellent and accommodating. This is not an all inclusive but the prices were not out of control. We went to the Buccaneer for golf and lunch and didn’t see why it was almost 500$ more per night then the Tamirand. Great time!

All the staff were wonderful, friendly. After just a day we felt like we'd been there before. Having the sea just off our patio was amazing. The room was always cleaned promptly and well done. They even found a coffee pot for us so we could have coffee every morning on the patio. The restaurant, The Deep End, was great. Food always good. Bingo night was a blast. Prices reasonable. Overall, our experience was relaxed and very enjoyable.

Just to start off, this was our first trip to St. Croix. We read lots of reviews about the hotels on the island. We set out with goals in mind and tried to pick a property that met or was easily attainable with nearby attractions. Our goals: Beach Front Rooms, Golfing, Spa, nearby food, in room kitchen, entertainment. Rental car was easy right at the airport. Let me say, spend the money and rent a car. You will be happy you did. There’s a lot to do and taxis are hard to get. On our drive to the resort we passed a grocery store (Plaza Extra East) and I would recommend using it. Anything you need is in store and they give you vouchers for gas. check in was really easy. Staff was friendly. Not wanting to cook after a long day we headed down to the bar/pool (Deep end) area to check menus and grab a cocktail. Upon arriving the place was packed, but not uncomfortably. Plenty of staff, and friendly. Food was delicious, I think we ate there 6 meals total. Prices were reasonable and every night they have entertainment. Of the nights we went down there we saw: fire dancers, learned to salsa dance, played disco bingo with cash prizes, had a limbo competition, and some good bands and dj’s. The buildings look dated but everything on the island looks the same. Room was spacious and clean. Has kitchenette and safe in room. I highly recommend Tammarind if you enjoy relaxation and modest fun. Not a party resort. It was everything we wanted. Just booked again!

The staff was wonderful. Khali was amazing treating us extra special on our anniversary. They were still going renovations but the property is so beautiful and understated you don’t notice. I will definitely be back.

Tamarind Reef Resort was clean, staff was friendly, location is great and beds were comfortable. Overall, the rooms need an uplift. The kitchen is dated and the room needs basics like more hooks and hangars. Our 10-day stay was great! Would highly recommend.

You can't beat the view these have - direct oceanfront. It's called a resort but I'd be more inclined to call it a luxury motel. But the rooms are super nice and air conditioned. We enjoyed the rooms very much. The front desk manager, Shelly, was unwelcoming and treated me more like a recalcitrant school child than welcoming me as a guest. I was troubled by her tone/attitude but she wouldn't let me speak to a manager when I asked. Apparently no manager was on duty during our stay. That sounds odd to me. Also told us breakfast wasn't included while that was clearly in the Expedia listing. Lovely poolside area for relaxing, but the poolside grill menu was fried food - would have been charming to have something fresher and more variety.

My Staycation which I definitely needed, was peaceful, relaxing and tranquil, the service was great, cleanliness which is important to me , it was on point, even though I live on the island, I do not have an ocean view at home , Tamarind Reef has a Beautiful Ocean view , would stay again and again for my getaway

I like that is was private. Not a lot of traffic but plenty of people to socialize if desired. It is close to town so it is a quick drive in to shop or look around. East end of the island is beautiful and in close reach of the property.

We had a nice stay at the Tamarind Reef Resort. We had a large room with a great view of the ocean from the second floor balcony. One thing we loved was that there was a real lap swimming pool (we estimate it to be 20 yds). The staff were very helpful and accommodating. There was complimentary snorkel equipment but unfortunately, the water conditione around the hotel were too rough to actually go in. The hotel is a few miles away from Christiansted where there are many restaurants and places to shop. We also took a tour of Buck island which left from there. There is parking on site. There is also a casual bar/restaurant which was extremely close to our room and also an upscale restaurant on the property. We were comfortable during our stay.
