We have stayed at Alpine River Cottages many times over the years, and for a good reason. The location is central to both Bright and Myrtleford, without the business of either town. The cottages overlook the tranquil Ovens River, where in Summer you can swim and enjoy the natural surrounds.
This time, we received a surprise, an upgrade to the new cottage—a self-contained tiny house with a view of the Mountain and the beautiful river. Warm and cosy, we had peace and quiet. The morning alarm, the local Kookaburras and Yellow-tailed Cockatoos.
We will definitely be back.

Narelle greeted me upon arrival and was so lovely and kind. She went above and beyond to make our stay really memorable. Room was clean, comfortable and outside space was really well thought out- had a few games of foose ball and table tennis with my teenager. Can’t wait to return!
