The house is right in the village, handy for the 2 tavernas and store. Also, it's literally around the corner from excellent quality bike hire. The room had everything I needed and was very good value. There's a terrace in the garden with views over the village and valley where you can enjoy the golden sunsets.

This is more like traditional greek rooms than a hotel, but all the facilities you would expect in a hotel room were provided . There is a shared terraced with a view over the whole village. The room was clean and everything worked (hot water , air conditioning ). There is a small cooking area and you can prepare food in the room. The owner supplied us with a lot of free fruit.
It was very hot and we were the in September - the air conditioning was essential. We could get the temperature down enough during the evening to turn it off and sleep in peace at night (it was not very noisy, we just don't like the buzz)
Although you can not other food at the room the tavern in the village centre did excellent food at reasonable prices (don't wait for the bill though- just go in and pay at the end) There is another restaurant in the village (at the top, short uphill walk) but we did not eat there. The views from the top restaurant were stunning .
This is a good location to drive to Nicosia, Paphos and Lemesos as the village is not too far off the main road and you can also go into more mountainous areas and visit other villages .
