We really enjoyed our stay at Motel de la Mer in Napier. The location was excellent - close to the waterfront, cafes, and the Art Deco centre of town, making it easy to explore everything the area has to offer. The room was modern, very spacious, and clean, with a comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities.
Julian was very welcoming and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. Parking was convenient and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The kitchen wasn't very well equipped or designed for cooking, but ok for a light meal and with so many great restaurants around not really an issue.
Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience, and we’d definitely stay here again when visiting Napier.

Staff were very helpful including allowing early check in and storage of bags. Very friendly and nice motel units. Would recommend.

Foreshore view, large clean comfortable room, easy 5 minute walk to the main shops along the foreshore. Host was very friendly, helpful and informative pointing out places of interest and great dining options.
Wish we could have stayed longer, would definitely stay here again.

Great room with private spa. Fantastic surroundings. Julian was a very nice and considerate host, he brought us a delicious breakfast in the morning.
