Toilets wouldn’t flush. The elevator was broke. Water pressure was low and, water temperature was barely warm. The steps between the floors not only looked awful but smelled awful as well. The pool and hot tub area was not comfortable to be in because of the amount of chemical in the water and the air. My eyes burned for a couple days after spending a very short time in the pool/hot tub are.

I guess "quiet time" is at 10 so DONT MOVE like AT ALL. We had our kods with us because it was the weekend, everyone knows how kids are. But literally we got called on so lich for the littlest things it SUCKED. Couldnt enjoy ourselves, if i would of known about this "quiet time" we would of never booked there to begin with.the pool is overpoweribg by chlorine smell it burns your eyes and gives you an instant headache.

Absolutely horrific; children above us running all hours of the night; several trios to front desk to complain with next stop calling the police; staff did nothing to stop noise; room on first floor by conference room that had a conference starting at 7:30 AM ON A SUNDAY! Seriously? Why do you have regular rooms by your conference room? Our room especially bathroom had first in the corners and looked like old mold they tried to cover up; mattress felt like it was sleeping in a box springs…no cushion to it all; hot water in am for shower had to keep bumping every few mins to hotter and hotter cause it kept getting colder and colder

Tile in entryway & bathroom were sticky upon arrival, not cleaned well, TV & phone did not work & it was so hot in the room we had to turn the a/c on 65 degrees & keep it there or it was too hot to sleep.
Carpet throughout the entire hotel was stained & disgusting.

The desk clerk was professional and efficient. The first room they gave me must have been smoked in and they sprayed too much deodorizer, you could almost taste. The desk clerk quickly gave me a different room and even brought me the key cards. I greatly appreciated his quick response!

The water pressure was too low for our room (225) however our Daughter's room was fine (237)

Pool was nasty with algae in it. The upper embedding machine was out of order. The breakfast didn’t have biscuits to go with the gravy. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The staff was friendly and the hotel very clean. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future.

My check-in was a nightmare. The booking was mixed up somehow and it took 45 minutes to clear the issue with Hotels.com. The receptionist was AMAZING though! He was understanding, patient, and accomodating. The stay was great.

The food was great ! The service was amazing .
The room and bathroom and chairs in the room were dirty . Needs painted . Walls and ceiling . There was black mold on the outside of bathroom tub . The hand soap seemed like it was almost empty. There was cigarette burns by the beds. There was no travel bags snacks to go , like we have had before .
And the breakfast was very good and the black lady was so nice . She should be able to take home or have the staff split up what is left over . I just so happened to asked .

The 3rd floor televisions were not functioning and no credit was offered to compensate for the inconvenience.

The bathroom room was missing towels and there was debris on floor in bathroom .. we have stayed before .. usually perfect .. today was unusual .. also the breakfast was out of plates and several food items … also unusual . We will come back as overall we like this hotel and location

Place was in poor overall condition. Every part of the hotel was worn out and in need of a full renovation. The carpets in the corridors and in the room were dirty and badly stained. We had to move to a new room as the fridge didn't work in the room assigned and smelled gross when the door was opened. Not what I expected from Holiday Inn, certainly will not stay there again and probably will avoid any Holiday Inn in the future.

This hotel is an older property located close to a number of truck-stops. I was afraid truck-stop noise would keep me awake all night, but amazingly I got a surprisingly quiet room with quiet HVAC and I slept well (the most important thing). I was able to turn on the HVAC fan without having to turn on the A/C or heat. This created “white noise” that drowned out outside and hallway noise. The hotel’s carpeting is old, stained, and disgusting but I can live with that. I only care about sleeping. Breakfast was good enough with your standard variety of eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, pancakes, juices, etc. For an older property, I think they are charging too much for rooms, but I did get a quiet room so that’s the most important thing.

Although there was a computer error and we were not able to stay at the specific location, Charlie, the hotel manager made sure that our reservations were still taking care of and handled by their sister property located directly behind this hotel. It was a very special birthday weekend for me and he went above and beyond to ensure that we were still taking care of even though we weren't guests at his hotel and even offered for us to come over and have breakfast at his location since Candlewood did not offer a Continental breakfast.

Cons:
Room keys didn't work, exercise machines broken, buffet staff vacuuming in breakfast room at 9:00 while we are trying to eat.

Overall a good stay. Very disappointed that there are no USB outlets in the rooms. For the cost of the room they should at least be ready for 2023.
