I booked this room for a friend as we were both attending a wedding. So this is his review: I loved the room. It was a great size for one or two people. I liked that I could walk through the closet to access the room or the bathroom. The hot water was always ready. I had a nice view of the front. My room was hot as the hotel's air conditioning was not working, but it didn't affect my ability to sleep.

Great stay. We booked the honeymoon suite for just a little more than a standard room and enjoyed the extra space. Great breakfast and a short walk to the green line metro. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Spacious and clean room for our family of 4. Wonderful breakfast with good variety. Staff was very kind and hospitable. Short walk to bus stops. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

I have stayed at this hotel before and have always enjoyed my stay. This one particular time, I was annoyed because the air conditioner was not working in the whole buidling and I feel that they should have informed me when I checked in. Instead, I was in my room for about 2 hours when I realized it was not getting any cooler in the room. So, I called the front desk and they told me that the A/C was broken and they could bring me a fan. The fan did help a lot. I understand that these things happen and they couldn't prevent the situation especially when Taipei was experiencing a heatwave but it was not fun. The manager saw my Expedia check-in feedback and responded to my message. After speaking with him, he was able to help me feel more comfortable in the hotel and even offered my friend who was checking in later an early check in. I'm not sure if the A/C was ever fixed but by the end of my stay, I was comfortable.
Usually, when I stay here, the staff, the room, and the hotel condition are all great. Nothing was different this time, except for the temperature in the room.
