Family of four stayed in hotel for 11 days - we had great time. Very nice hotel -staff very helpful, convenient location in haitang sanya, rooms and facilities are very clean and comfortable, with big family rooms. My butler Bobby has been great help to us, patient and experienced. Kids club is great for family, staff well trained and great to kids. There are lots kids pools with staff looking after customers all the time, Alan has been very helpful when we were playing near the kids pool. Overall very happy with the hotel and kids loved sanya as first timer in China

Assistant front desk manager was brilliant he provided us with service above and beyond our expectations and made us feel very welcome. He is an excellent ambassador for this hotel.

I stayed at the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay Resort by IHG for a recent solo business trip, and the experience exceeded all expectations. The hotel offers a perfect balance between professional amenities and luxury comfort, making it an ideal choice for business travelers.
The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with a strong Wi-Fi connection — essential for video meetings and remote work. The staff was courteous, efficient, and spoke excellent English, which made check-in and daily interactions seamless.
The on-site business center and meeting facilities were reliable and well-maintained. I also appreciated the quiet environment, which allowed for focused work during the day. After hours, the beachfront and in-house dining options provided a relaxing way to unwind.
Additionally, the concierge was extremely helpful in arranging transportation and offering local recommendations that suited my limited schedule.
Overall, this property is highly recommended for solo professionals looking for a secure, comfortable, and high-quality stay in Sanya. I would definitely return for both business and leisure.

The adult swimming pool is always closed!!!! It says guests need to tell hotel 30 minutes in advance if we want to use the swimming pool then they open it.i never encounter such in 5 star hotel before!
The hotel is overall old now, needs renovation. Activities for adults not much. Overall not feel so resort like.
