Nice Hotel
I want to rate the hotel 5 stars because it achieves what it is trying to. The staff was great. Food at dinner was great and people are very kind. Breakfast was great too.
But I feel they missed on what the place could be. It is a mix of historic and modern industrial. The rooms are nice but generic with higher quality Ikea type furniture. I don't feel any connection to on to the past. But like I said if you want a nice hotel then you'll be happy here.

Castle, wine cave, outdoor pool, museum all in one in the serene country side. As they put this in hotel marketing, this is a retreat for body, mind and spirit. This is a remarkable hotel...one must stay longer than a night to truly enjoy the experience.

Overall the hotel was good. But no wash clothes in the bathroom, very hot with no way to turn down the heat, and overhead light would not go off if you just wanted to use the reading bed lamps. But the hotel staff and view plus the wines and food overcame the room defects. Mixed review on room but the out of room experience was outstanding.
