The condition of the room was good, the confort was fine but having over 8 cocroaches crewling all over the bench when i got up to get a drink and one crewling across the tissue box in the bathroom was horrendous

Would never come here again, got charged 200 extra for deposit that they said would be given back to me in morning after room was cleaned. The lady tried saying we’re not getting the money back because we had a couple visitors for 20 minutes while we got changed before we went out together

Very nice establishment. Easy walking to many restaurants. Complete kitchenette with all utensils. Bathroom had a jacuzzi tub! Parking is $10 extra.

Wouldn't let me check in as i didnt have a credit card amd would not accept a cash bond or transferred bond from bank account then has refused to refund payment.

Our stay was very good, it was close to all amenities. The room was spacious and very clean had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We had an excellent stay.

I stayed here previously as it's clean, well located and easy walk to restaurants, transport, shopping etc. We got a warm welcome when we arrived and they could accommodate a slightly early arrival. Unfortunately this time it was expensive for what we got, it is dated and I would consider it 3 star not 4. Carparking is outside the doors but not allocated and we got the last park when we arrived. Room 1 is accessible but being.in the corner can feel very closed in if large vehicles park outside. Lots of little things (heating couldnt operate when we were out so we had to return to a cold room, hairdryer attached to the wall, minimal bathroom supplies, TV didn't work, dark entry, evidence of a previous guest etc), took the edge off our stay and, regrettably, I wouldn"t stay again.

Very friendly at the front desk with quick and easy check-in. They gave lots of good spots to visit and eat out. Room was very spacious and very comfortable. Location was very central to all the eating places in Tauranga and was easy to walk around. Really enjoyed my stay.

A one night stopover for us, it provided all we needed for a pleasant stay. Well located near shops and eateries. Clean, properly equipped kitchen area, comfortable bed. Not much to look out on and blinds had to be down for privacy but neither marred our enjoyment

The Motor Inn is on historic Wharf Street, a great location, with everything, including the historic Elms, within easy walking distance: one minute from The Strand and restaurants and bars and a minute from Grey Street shopping. The Motor Inn is in excellent condition, with a great external appearance and excellent internal appointment. Our unit (was it 7 or 8?) was ground floor (excellent for heavy suitcases!). The unit was spacious, well laid-out, and equipped with a kitchenette. The bathroom was large, clean and had a great shower. A guest laundry is available. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended Mt Maunganui (we caught the bus and had a great day there) and the historic walk around Tauranga ( a lovely walk and easy to do). The Motor Inn is just 50 metres from the intercity bus stop. No other hotel is closer. The Motor Inn is an absolute gem.
